About Cherie Morris & Vicki Vollweiler

Cherie Morris is a Certified Divorce Coach. She attended Duke University and the University of Iowa College of Law. She worked as a lawyer from 1991 through 2003 and since that time has worn many hats: COO of a law firm, yoga teacher, author and mother.

Cherie had a long-term marriage, with children, which ended in divorce. This deepened her desire to explore how to make a very chaotic and stressful life transition a more organized, fair and cooperative one. Cherie’s training as a coach was inspired by this experience. Cherie has four children of her own, two of whom are in college, and is part of a blended family. She is delighted to include her partner’s daughter and say they have a combined five.

There are many professionals who may serve an individual in divorce, but a divorce coach may be the only one acting as an objective thinking partner who will help you decide, at a reasonable cost, how to frame important decisions that will serve you and your children now and well into the future. This applies whether you are contemplating, in the midst of, or have post-divorce complications.

Cherie is available for coaching sessions regarding divorce and other life transitions for individuals and couples too.

Vicki Vollweiler is a Certified Divorce Coach with her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and her MBA degree from Syracuse University.

While Vicki has been divorced for several years, she continues to see the need for education about the divorce process for those first entering into its complexities. Vicki is the mother of a teenage son, a young daughter and a Dachshund named Pretzel, all of whom she loves very, very much! By becoming a Certified Divorce Coach, she is able to ease the road for the many others on the same journey.

Vicki is a perpetual analyst and views most things from a very logical perspective. Her strengths include setting goals and planning action steps to reach those goals. She works with her clients to plan strategy so that the divorce agreement is all encompassing with no questions left unasked.

Vicki meets with clients individually regarding divorce and other life transitions either alone or in conjunction with a licensed clinical therapist. She also offers various New York based support groups for individuals as well as couples facing various challenges whether it is separation, divorce or loss. The goal is always moving forward.
