Now, she's announced that after suffering through various infertility problems, she and her husband are expecting their second child!

1. Who is Mina Starsiak's husband, Steve Hawk? They got married in 2016.
Mina Starsiak's husband, Steve Hawk, tied the knot with the Good Bones star back in 2016. The couple got married in a historic old building in Indianapolis, where they both live. You can check out a photo from their wedding below.
2. They met on Facebook — and Starsiak's mother, and Good Bones co-star — didn't approve of him at first.
In an exclusive interview, Starsiak's mother — who is also her Good Bones co-star — said that she didn't approve of Hawk at first. Karen Laine, who said that Starsiak and Hawk went through "a difficult time" in the beginning of their relationship, eventually got won over, but not without a warning.
"They broke up for a while because he behaved really badly — in a phenomenally bad way," she said, though she didn't say what Hawk had done wrong. "When they decided to get back together, the only thing I said to him was 'Don't ever hurt her again because you'll have me.'"
3. The couple took dance lessons for their "first dance" when they got married.
When Starsiak and Hawk got married in 2016, they revealed they had to take nearly a dozen dance lessons before they could even think of executing their first dance. The couple took their lessons from dance champion Kathleen Ilo, and credited her with helping them pull off their first dance.
4. Starsiak's husband proposed on the Indianapolis Colts' training field.
Hawk proposed to Starsiak in the most unusual way: he sent her on a scavenger hunt that concluded with a proposal on the 50-yard line of the Indianapolis Colts' training field. When Starsiak got engaged, she posted a photo of the engagement ring on Instagram, which you can see below.
5. They already have a son named Jack Richard.
On August 9, 2018, Starsiak gave birth to the couple's first son, Jack Richard. The happy moment was captured for the HGTV special, Mina's Forever Home. In the special, Starsiak said that the most important thing in the world for her was her home because it was there that she let Hawk know that he was about to become a father.
6. Starsiak is pregnant with their second child — and she overcame serious fertility issues to become pregnant again.
On March 11, 2020, Starsiak announced she and Hawk were pregnant with their second child. She also revealed she struggled with getting pregnant for the second time because of fertility issues. “Based on our experience with Jack, by month three of trying, I was like, ‘This is not going to schedule. This isn’t how it happened the first time. There’s no reason it should be taking this long,’ ” she said, adding that the couple also went through a failed round of IVF before trying "one more time."
