The Masked Singer Season 3 has only just begun, but fans are already trying to figure out who's hiding in each costume.
So far, only one mask has been revealed so far — Lil Wayne is the Robot, FYI — but what about the remaining 17 contestants?
Who is the Bear on The Masked Singer? We don't know much so far, but here's what we have figured out about their hidden identity.
1. The Bear costume is definitely more cute and cuddly than scary.
Although The Masked Singer could have gone with a more realistic bear costume, this one is definitely more like a teddy bear than anything else. With that fuzzy pink and purple fur, there's nothing scary or intimidating about this particular bear ... and in this photo, next to an actual bear, it's clear that the show's version of the animal is anything but.
2. It seems like the Bear may be a woman.
The Bear is definitely giving off some feminine vibes, between the bright colors, the long eyelashes, and the furry pink boots they're wearing. Of course, it's totally possible that the celeb inside is a dude but we wouldn't be surprised at all to find out the bear is actually a lady — and that would help narrow things down a bit.
3. The Bear isn't expected to perform until later this season.
Since the 17 remaining contestants are divided into three groups of performers, and the Bear is in that third and last group, Group C, it could be a few weeks before we get to see the Bear take the stage, and that means any clues that might come from their performance aren't coming for awhile.
So much for making too many guesses, right?
4. Fans on Reddit think the Bear could be Melanie Martinez.
On The Masked Singer subreddit, some fans are convinced that the Bear is singer Melanie Martinez.
"On IG bear was described as a 'Teddy Bear' a song she sings. Bear has a very stuffed animal-like appearance, and that’s kinda Melanie’s whole thing, the whole childlike aesthetic," one fan wrote.
5. Fans on Instagram are already taking their bets.
Not only did fans commenting on The Masked Singer's Instagram post about the Bear share that they love this costume (and wish it was an option for a teddy of their own at Build-A-Bear), but they also shared who they think it could be.
Cardi B and Mandy Moore are two guesses, while other fans are dreaming big with guesses like Kylie Jenner, which seems far less likely.

Even though the Bear won't be performing anytime soon, there's a good chance more clues could drop (with any luck at all). 'Til then, we'll just have to keep watching the show every week.
