Who knew that the U.S. would go nuts for a silly show where celebrities wear elaborate and silly costumes and sing in front of the judges, whose job it is to guess who's behind the mask? It's so simple, silly and yet genius! The original iteration of the show ran in South Korea and was adapted last year for American audiences, who ate it up. The singing competition — can we really call it that, I mean it is, but it is also so much more than that — started it's second season tonight and we are all in for all of the Masked Singer spoilers: who is the Penguin — and who are all the other competitors?

Season one's judges are back for more fun. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke are your regular judges and just like last season, it's expected that guest judges will drop in to get in on the fun. This season the producers of the show are promising it will be tricker than ever to figure out the man or woman behind the mask.

"The Fox celebrity singing competition returns for Season 2 tonight (8 EDT/PDT) to greater scrutiny and anticipation as producers promise a higher level of singing talent, better music choices and flashier, dare we say eggs-quisite, costumes. Success means a bigger, bolder show, as "Singer" goes from 12 to 16 celebrity contestants and from nine to 12 competition hours (including a two-hour opener and a Christmas-themed episode), along with set upgrades, such as "a new swanky-pants digital floor," executive producer Izzie Pick Ibarra said to USA Today.

1. The Clues

He/she comes all the way from Antartica, he's fearless but flightless. In the teaser video for the Penguin, the penguin says: "I might be cold as ice, but I'm bringing the heat. Will I be at the finale? Of course. I've already got my tux. Now I just have to get my hair done. America, can you guess who I am? Everytime you think you're getting warmer, I promise you're actually getting colder." The voice of the person behind the mask — the most difficult one to see out of this season — is distorted — almost like the person inside has sucked on helium, making it pretty hard to discern if it is a man or a woman.

2. Judge Guesses

Well, we do know one thing — Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke are going to have a blast trying to figure out the people behind the masks. Since the show premieres tonight, we will be back to update this section as soon as the Penguin has their moment on stage.

3. Other Guesses

Some fans of The Masked Singer think the montage of wigs in the Penguin's promo video point to a famous female singer. Sia, Lady Gaga, Janelle Monet and Katy Perry are popular guesses. Pink is also a guess, she did, after all, voice one of the penguins in Happy Feet Two. However, the best guess in my opinion, is former American Idol judge Paula Abdul. Consider the fact that the Penguin said "Cold as ice but I'm bringing the heat." Paula Abdul wore a tuxedo in her "Opposites Attract" video. She also sings the song "Coldhearted."

4. Best Guesses

Honestly, I think the Paula Abdul speculation is spot on! Even the altered voice, if you listen closely sounds a bit like Paula's voice. Plus, it it high time she make a comeback. The world needs more Paula Abdul in it. However, consider this — one of the clues is that the Penguin changes their hair often. What if it is Cyndi Lauper? Or, possibly, Vanilla Ice?

5. Twitter Guesses

Guesses on Twitter have ranged from Tonya Harding to Lindsay Lohan to Snooki from Jersey Shore. Only time will tell! This will be fun!
