Mr. Big is going to be a father again. Chris Noth, who will always be known for his iconic role on Sex And The City announced that he and his wife Tara Wilson are expecting their second child together. The couple,  have been married since 2012 and have an 11-year-old son named Orion.

Who is Chris Noth's wife? Read on for all the details.

1. Career before family

Before Noth was a dad, he was an actor on some of the most acclaimed tv shows of the 1990s: Law & Order and Sex and the City. Noth played Mike Logan on the first five seasons of Law & Order and then brought back the character for Law & Order: Criminal Intent. After that, he went on to play Mr. Big in HBO's Sex and the City. Noth earned a Golden Globe nomination for that, as well as legions of fans. Most recently, his performance as Peter Florrick in the CBS drama The Good Wife earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

2. Dating the boss

Noth and Wilson allegedly met when she was working as a bartender at The Cutting Room in New York City. Noth owns the bar. The two dated for several years before welcoming their first child in 2008. In 2009, when their son was two years old, they got engaged, according to People magazine.

3. Married on Maui

The couple finally got around to tying the knot in 2012. By that time, they had been a coupe for about eight years and son Orion was four-years-old. They got married on Maui in a private ceremony.

4. He loves being a dad

The couple's older son is 11 now and Noth has shared details of the fun times they have together. In 2016, he told the Australian outlet WHO about their inside jokes. “My son makes me laugh every day. He’s got a little of my goofball in him. He still loves poop jokes,” the actor said. “He’ll text me poop emojis and then sign, ‘Daddy, it’s Orion,’ and I’m like, ‘I know!’ Boys never get over that.”

5. "I better get my ass in shape"

Noth quipped that he was going to need to step up his fitness game when he announced that he had a second son on the way. Back in 2016, he had already been talking about his desire to keep up with his son.  "The other day I was throwing my kid around on the bed and I pulled a muscle in my back,” Noth says.“He loves to be thrown around, but he's not as light as he used to be! I lifted him up, threw him on the bed and then it’s like, ‘Wait a minute, he’s 60 lbs.’ My back is going, ‘Not so fast, partner!’ ” he adds. “I’ve got to stay young for him. He’s a good inspiration to go to the gym.”

6. New baby on the way

Now the couple is expecting their second child, another boy. Noth announced the happy news on his Instagram page with a photo of Wilson smiling and showing off her baby bump. No word on when the baby will be arriving.

7. Remembering Mr. Big

In 2017, Noth told US Weekly that he was done with that role. “I feel like we told that story,” he said at the time. “I don’t think there’s anything left for me to say about that. I want to tell other stories.”

Even though he was ready to walk away from the franchise, he got that fans were still that into the show. “I accept it. I may not understand it but I accept it. I think they just love the fashion,” he said. “The thing that I don’t understand is the idea of Mr. Big because — he wasn’t the guy that got away. They were always dance partners. Sometimes they went away for a little while and she had a bunch of other guys and he got married.” He also recalled that he had wanted to make sure that the writing didn't get too serious for his character and he always requested that the writers use more humor for him. “[I was like], ‘Don’t make me into this suave guy! Don’t make me into a Trumpesque millionaire. Humor!'”

Kristin Davis followed SJP's congrats with her own, saying "Yay Yay Yay."
