If there's one thing the stars of the Real Housewives franchises are famous for, it's the amount of drama they bring to any situation. And that's exactly the situation with Teddi Jo Mellencamp, who just announced she's pregnant with her third child. But who is Edwin Arroyave, Jo Mellencamo's baby daddy?
Let's look at what we know about this guy, who seems to have no problem inserting himself in all the mess.
1. He's the president of his own company.
According to Skyline Security Management's official website, Edwin Arroyave identifies as a business owner, a father, and a husband. He claims his company is one of the largest distributors of Brinks Home Security systems in the United States, but there's no independent confirmation of this.
2. Teddi Jo Mellencamp had to get IVF treatments in the past to conceive her children with Edwin Arroyave.
“My husband said, ‘I don’t want to see you going through IVF again — that was brutal. It was so many rounds, but this time we really weren’t doing anything! I was on vacation! Just having fun with my family! It was a complete surprise. I didn’t even know I was because I didn’t have a regular cycle,” she told Us Magazine.
3. He has a daughter from a previous relationship.
According to Reality Blurb, even though Teddi Jo Mellencamp now has three children with Edwin Arroyave, Edwin has a 10-year-old daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.
4. Teddi Jo Mellencamp is the daughter of Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp ... and he's not a fan of her role on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"Teddi was born to the Grammy-winning singer and his second wife, Victoria Granucci. She paid tribute to her famous dad on Father’s Day earlier this month with an Instagram photo that featured the pair embracing on the cover of his 1989 album Big Daddy," reported People Magazine.
5. And she's accepted Edwin Arroyave's daughter from a previous relationship as her own.
According to E! News, even though Isabella is Edwin Arroyave's daughter from a previous relationship, Teddi Jo Mellencamp says that she accepts Isabella as one of her own children. In fact, she said that her children know Isabella as their sister, not their half-sister. So, no wicked stepmother here!
6. She's a little over three months along in her pregnancy.
"I’m in my second trimester, 14 weeks. Everything’s good and I’m in the clear, so I’m just starting to get to that point where I’m sharing with everybody. Plus now I have a bump, so there’s not much more hiding I’ll be able to do!" she said, according to The Daily Mail.
