getty While we often hear about celebrity relationships, rarely do we hear about ones that are anything other than monogamous. But for actress Bella Thorne, she revealed to the world that she was in a polyamorous relationship with both musician Mod Sun and internet personality Tana Mongeau.
Thorne came out as bisexual in 2016, and in an interview with Gay Times, spoke about her relationship with Mod Sun and Mongeau: “I don’t think anybody will really understand the bonds that I share with Mod or Tana. Yeah, we joke around about poly but we aren’t in the sense that we don’t put a word, a box or label too many things. It is what it is.”
She and Mongeau broke up in February 2019, and just a few months later in April, split with Mod. Mongeau is now engaged to disgraced YouTuber Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul. But now, sources are saying that the exes got married before their split!
So, are Bella Thorne and Mod Sun married for real?
In a video from TooFab posted on June 27th, Mod was discussing the engagement of Mongeau and Paul but while talking about it, revealed something shocking. “I got engaged, married and divorced in 15 months in Hollywood, so, you know what I’m saying?” he said. “We’re out here putting rings on it! That’s what our generation does, we put a ring on it, you know what I’m saying?”
Um, what?! According to TooFab, the comments were, in fact, made about Thorne.
And though there’s no paperwork making the marriage official, he didn’t hold back from offering the newly-engaged couple advice, saying, “If you do any business together, get your paperwork right. Don’t get a dog together... don’t film too much on your own phone,” referring to Thorne’s nude photo scandal.
This isn’t the first time there have been rumors about whether or not Mod and Thorne tied the knot. Back in May 2018, Thorne shared a Boomerang showing off a new ring with the caption, “Da baby iced me out.”
Later that year, in October, she did a Q&A with Wired, where they asked her if she had gotten married. She responded, “You guys snuck that one in there, did ya? That is for my own personal knowledge and none for you.”
Mod also hinted at a wedding when he shared a video on Instagram of him wearing a white tuxedo while kissing Thorne, who is wearing a veil. He captioned it, “We split but this was still a beautiful moment in my life.”
Are they or aren’t they? It seems like there’s been no confirmation either way if they did truly say “I do,” but for now, we hope these individuals are happy.
