Lionel Richie's daughter is beautiful on her own — but did she get work done?

From the first day she burst onto the scene, on the arm of Justin Bieber, Sofia Richie has been the subject of many a plastic surgery rumor. Often, people ask, “did Sofia Richie have plastic surgery?”
Now, there just might be evidence that she did, in fact, get work done on her face.
Life & Style Magazine spoke to Dr. Leslie Gerstman, a cosmetic surgeon who has never treated Sofia Richie, and Dr. Gerstman revealed that there is plenty of evidence that Sofia has had a lot of work done to her face.
Let’s look at the work Dr. Gerstman claims Sofia Richie had.
1. She’s probably redone her nose and lips.
Sofia Richie may have gotten plastic surgery on her face.
One of the most common plastic surgery procedures is the rhinoplasty, most commonly known as the “nose job.” According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, rhinoplasty is the third-most common plastic surgery procedure performed in the United States (behind liposuction and breast augmentation).
And Dr. Gerstman believes that Sofia Richie is amongst the more than 200,000 people who get “nose jobs” every year. “I would say she’s had a surgical rhinoplasty to narrow her nose, lip augmentation to plump her lips and possibly Botox to the masseter muscle (jaw). Her jawline is less square now making her lower face appear thinner,” she said to Life & Style.
2. She may have also had a boob job.
Did Sofia Richie get breast augmentation surgery?
Back in 2018, Hollywood Life reported that Scott Disick — Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy and Sofia’s longtime boyfriend — got her a gift of breast augmentation (also known as a “boob job”) for her 20th birthday.
The outlet spoke to Dr. David Barrett, a Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon who also doesn’t treat Sofia Richie, and he confirmed that there was no way that she’d had a “growth spurt.”
“It definitely does look like Sofia Richie had a breast augmentation based on her latest photos, compared with those from her past. She has very likely undergone a breast augmentation and with what looks like a rounded silicone implant. Her upper projection and cleavage is a dead giveaway. At 20-years-old it’s extremely unlikely this would have been a growth spurt of any sort. The sizing, positioning, and shaping is very much in line with what an implant result looks like,” he told the outlet.
3. Is she becoming a “Kardashian Klone”?

Sofia Richie has been associated with the so-called “Kardashian Klan” since she was a child. That close relationship probably explains why the family took it so well when she hooked up with Scott Disick after he and Kourtney Kardashian ended their long-time relationship.
But according to the Daily Mail, part of the reason she’s getting all this plastic surgery is that she wants to look more like her infamous friends. And this desire, according to the outlet, is being fueled by Scott Disick’s insistence on spending money on her plastic surgery.
Despite Scott’s perceived influence on Sofia’s plastic surgery habits, Sofia said that she’s “very happy” with Scott. “We are very happy, very lovey-dovey. We are best friends and that is mainly the strongest connection we have. We have always had that best friend connection and from there it has really worked out. I am so happy,” she said.
4. She looks great, regardless!

Despite her plastic surgery, Sofia Richie has always managed to turn heads. According to StyleCaster, Sofia has made an impact on the pop culture zeitgeist as a fashionista in her own right.
What’s more, she told Glamour UK that, long before she became a model — and started getting plastic surgery — that her friends always used to come to her for beauty and fashion advice, and she always knew what to tell them.
“The best beauty tip a celebrity ever gave me came from my dad [Lionel Richie]. He always tells me, "Don't pluck your eyebrows because they won't grow back, like mine!", so I've never touched them out of fear!” she said.
In addition to making waves in the celebrity world, Sofia Richie has, according to Glamour UK, amassed millions of devoted followers on social media thanks to her edgy aesthetic and fun-loving persona and has landed major campaigns, from Tommy Hilfiger to Chanel.
So, it seems that whether she has – or hasn’t – had plastic surgery, Sofia Richie still looks great…and she’s beautiful on both the inside and the outside!
