Who Is Joshua Mark Williams? New Details About His Sexual Abuse Arrest — And His Connection With The Duggars

Instagram Jana Duggar's rumored boyfriend Caleb Williams was arrested recently for sexually abusing a teenager. Now his older brother Joshua Mark Williams has been arrested for assault and battery against a child. Do we have to say it, Jana? Girl, run away, run far far away from this family! Joshua Mark Williams 25, of Rogers, Arkansas was arrested on August 3, 2018 for second-degree domestic battery, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree. Caleb Williams is facing two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He pled not guilty. He is accused of placing his finger and penis inside of a female minor between the ages of 13 and 16. Who is Joshua Mark Williams? And what is his connection with Duggar family?
1. Joshua's wife
Joshua lives not far from the Duggar compound in Arkansas. Court documents claim that Joshua's wife suspected that he physically assaulted a boy under the age of 10 in their home on several occasions. His wife reported that Joshua punished the child by making him exercise by doing push ups, planks, jumping jacks and wall sits. Joshua was also accused of holding the child's face underwater in a bathtub for about one to two minutes.
2. Joshua's reasoning
Allegedly, Joshua held the boy's face underwater after he learned that the boy tried to hurt a dog in a similar way. The affidavit stated: “Joshua was trying to make [the boy] hold his breath under water, so he could ‘make him feel like the puppy felt.’” His wife did not see Joshua hit the child but reportedly Joshua told her that he did. He is also accused of using a wooden dowel road against the child, causing marks and bruising on his body.
3. He pled not guilty
On December 3, 2018, Joshua Mark Williams pled not guilty to the charges against him. He is expected to appear in court later this month.
4. A trend
In 2015, Josh Duggar molested five women. Caleb Williams, who is rumored to be courting Jana Duggar, was arrested for sexually abusing a teenager. Now Joshua Williams has his own abuse scandal. The Duggars have not commented on Caleb and Joshua’s criminal behavior. It can be assumed that between Caleb's scandal and his br any hope of Caleb and Jana courting is definitely shattered.
