YouTube sensation Colleen Ballinger AKA Miranda Sings announced that she got married. The Miranda Sings creator took to her YouTube Channel to talk about the highlights of 2018 and announced that in addition to falling in love, getting pregnant, and getting engaged with 'Haters Back Off' co-star Erik Stocklin, the two officially tied the knot, saying “I got pregnant, and engaged, and married, all in the same year,” she said. “Yeah, we got married. Oops, forgot to tell you that one.” So, who is Erik Stocklin?

The couple had posted photos of themselves with their newborn son in December and eagle-eyed fans spotted a wedding ring on the actor’s finger as he cuddled the baby. He also slipped and referred to Colleen as his wife in an online comment. However, it wasn’t until this week that either of the pair had confirmed the rumor that they were already married.

While Colleen is well-known for her comedic YouTube videos and her live shows performing as her online character, Stocklin's an actor as well. He has been performing on TV since 2010.

1. Theatre trained

Stocklin is a New Jersey native but he headed to Connecticut Sate University to study theatre for college. After getting his degree in theatre, he performed at regional venues including Elm Shakespeare Company and Circle In The Square Theatre.

2. Cali bound

In 2008, Stocklin headed to LA to break into film and television. His first major break came in 2010, when he was cast in a recurring role in First Day, a series about the worst first day of high school imaginable.

3. Serious roles

Stocklin's career has led him to more and more serious roles over time. By 2018, he had appeared in many shows including Bones, Major Crimes, Stalkers, and Criminal Minds. 4. Lucky break

The role that changed Stocklin’s life was when he was cast as Patrick in Colleen Ballinger’s series Haters Back Off. He played the love interest to Ballinger’s Miranda character. The relationship developed off-screen as well.

5. Baby on the way

Shortly after going public with their relationship in 2018, Ballinger discovered she was pregnant. She told people that Stocklin proposed not long after finding out the exciting news, saying “He’d been planning it for so long and we’ve been talking for so long about getting married and having kids, but then this happened first. 6. Secretly married

Balligner announced on YouTube that the couple got married in 2018, as well as having their baby on December 10. Some fans were shocked by the news but others had figured it out before and commented, “I love how everyone is surprised you got married. It’s not like Erik wearing a wedding ring, you calling each other wife and husband, and being absolutely in love wasn’t enough…”
