It looks like congratulations are in order for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. This would be the couple's fourth child: North was born in 2013, Saint in 2015, and Chicago in 2018. Rumors are making the rounds saying Kim is adding a baby boy to the family. This baby will make Kim the Kardashian with the most kids. Kourtney has three children. Kim had difficult pregnancies with North and Saint. She used a surrogate for the birth of Chicago. The newest Kardashian-West kid is due in May! But, we have to ask, is this true? Is Kim Kardashian pregnant with baby #4?
1. Kim's difficult pregnancies
Kim Kardashian gave birth to her first child, daughter North West on June 15, 2013. Her son Saint West was born on December 5, 2015. She has been very open about her difficult pregnancies. With North, she suffered preeclampsia and had to deliver the baby at 34 weeks. She also suffered from placenta accreta during both of her deliveries. After her second pregnancy, her doctors advised her to not get pregnant again as it could be life-threatening. When daughter Chicago West was born on January 15, 2018, Kim used a surrogate.
2. Sibling rivalry?
During an episode of Kocktails with Khloe, Kim admitted North wasn't the biggest fan of her siblings. Once, when Kim was breastfeeding Saint, she tried to get her to stop. Kim said, “First of all she’d cry so much and try to pull him off me. I was feeding him on [one] side… and she was so jealous that she took her little milk box and put it in my bra with the straw sticking out and she wanted to drink while he was drinking.” She also said that North rarely spoke to Saint. However, during an interview on Ellen, she told host Ellen DeGeneres that North was friendlier to Chicago.
3. The last embryo
Over the summer, Us Weekly revealed that Kim and Kanye had one embryo left and it's a boy. Around the same time, an insider close to the Kardashian West family told People, "They have absolutely talked about trying for another baby with the help of a surrogate, but nothing seems decided for sure… They would use the same surrogate if she agrees to help them again. Kim can’t say enough kind words about the surrogate.” It is expected that La'Reina Haynes, the surrogate who carried Chicago, will deliver the newest baby as well.
4. Four is the last baby
This fourth baby is likely the last for the Kardashian West clan. Last year, she told Elle that she was torn about baby number four. "I dunno," she said. "My home and my heart feel really full right now, in the best way." At the same time, if the couple decided to have a fourth child, she made it clear that the couple's fourth child would be their last. "I don't think I could handle more than that," she said. "My time is spread really thin. And I think it's important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids."
5. The denials ... sort of
Late last summer, Kim told E! that she wasn't sold on baby number four. "I don't know, I don't know, I read that, I read something ... none of that was true. But I've been really open about it and talked about it on our show, so I don't know." It's not a denial but more of a wait and see. Sources say baby number four is due in early May. The baby would give Kim and Kanye two girls and two boys.
