For a couple who lives their lives predominantly in the spotlight, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's relationship has managed to stay pretty secretive.
The couple has been raising eyebrows recently with various hints about their relationship status, mainly with the question... are Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott married??
Yes, Kylie and her rapper beau are the latest celebrity duo to be the focus of secret marriage rumors. Has the youngest Kardashian sister taken the plunge and already tied the knot with her boyfriend? Or could the couple just be trolling everyone by dropping signs here and there, but have yet to actually get married?
Let's take a closer look at the speculation around Scott and Jenner's relationship!
1. Kylie and Travis call each other husband and wife.
For a couple that is seemingly not married, Scott and Jenner sure like to refer to each other in those terms. As far back as August, Scott was calling Jenner his "wifey" in a series of images he posted on his Instagram.
But this is far from the only time the rapper has done this. Scott is currently on tour and during a recent concert at Astroworld Fest, he gave Jenner a shout out once again referring to her as his wife. Jenner followed up by posting some images of Scott and their baby, Stormi, to her Instagram and the rapper left a comment saying, "I love you wifey." Scott even called Jenner's mother, Kris, his mother-in-law during an interview on the Ellen show.
And Jenner is guilty of doing the same thing. In October, she posted a video on Instagram of flowers that Scott had gotten her with the caption, "thank u hubby." She's referred to him as her husband in her Instagram stories as well.
Jenner also reportedly likes to play "wifey" to Scott, especially recently as she's been with him while he's on tour. "Kylie is enjoying being on tour a lot more than she thought she would, and she’s getting a kick out of playing ‘wifey’ to Travis,” a source told Hollywood Life.
2. Kylie has been seen wearing a diamond ring.
The younger Kardashian sister has been spotted wearing a particular piece of jewelry lately. Jenner was out in Miami recently when she was seen wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger, causing fans to question if she really had gotten married to Scott.
And they could have bought the bauble as far back as August (which, coincidentally happened to be the same month Scott called Jenner his wifey on Instagram). The pair went jewelry shopping in August and reportedly purchased a few items. However, this happened around Kylie's 21st birthday so the jewelry could possibly have just been birthday gifts and not an engagement ring.
Or it's possible that it could have been both. You never know.
3. This isn't the first big secret the couple has kept.
Who could forget the heavy speculation surrounding whether or not Jenner was really pregnant last year?
Fans were pretty surprised when she officially announced the news that she'd given birth to a baby girl in February 2018 since Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian clan have never been known for being shy about making details regarding their personal lives public knowledge.
Jenner eventually revealed that she made the decision to keep it quiet for health-related reasons. In an interview with Vogue Australia, Kylie said: "I knew that it would be better for us, if me and Stormi just stayed kind of low-key. Your hormones are going crazy and your emotions are more heightened, and I just felt like I wasn't prepared to. I just felt like it was a sacred special moment and I wasn't ready to share it with everybody. I just wanted to keep that to myself."
Considering that the couple has already kept one big milestone in their lives under wraps, it's hardly a stretch to think that they might possibly do it again.
4. Many celebrities have managed to marry privately recently.
Jenner and Scott would just be another famous couple in a long line of numerous others who have accomplished being able to get hitched under the radar. In fact, secret celebrity engagements and marriages have been happening so often lately that it seems to be the newest trend in Hollywood. We're looking at you, Justin and Hailey, Cardi B and Offset, and so many others we can't even name them all right now.
5. Are Kylie and Travis really married?
Sure, the two lovebirds enjoy calling each other husband and wife over social media, going jewelry shopping, and then wearing the jewelry on a certain specific finger. However, all of this still doesn't confirm that Jenner and Scott are actually married. Until one or both of them officially announce the marriage, then it's most likely just rumors.
And although sources say that the pair have talked about marriage, it appears they're not even engaged. "Kylie and Travis have definitely discussed getting married and she has expressed what type of ring she would want Travis to buy her. It would definitely be over the top," a source told E! News. "They are not engaged right now but have talked about it, and it's only a matter of time."
