Father's Day is so special for all dads out there. New dads, old dads, step-dads, single fathers, father-figures, grandfathers — you name it, this day is for YOU.

Being a dad is no easy feat. I mean, take mine for instance. He's got my mom, my sister, and me — a house full of women. And even though he doesn't have any sons and he grew up with two other brothers of his own, he is still one of the kindest, most gentle person I know.

He might get on my nerves at times (but isn't that true for every father at one point or another?) and we might disagree on a lot of things (but that could just be the Aries in him and the Aquarius in me coming out), but he still supports me in everything I do.

And honestly, I would much rather have a father who encourages me to push my limits and makes me want to work hard at literally everything I do, no matter how small or insignificant that thing may be, than be a passive presence in my life.

For all of those new fathers out there, it might be scary to know that you are now going to be the person your baby looks up to whenever he or she needs help or advice, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to support them.

But even though this might terrify you a little bit, it should excite you too. Being that important person in another person's life is no joke.

It's going to be hard work and you might to feel like you're not doing enough at times (or too much), but it's all worth it when you finally see your kid succeed and make something of themselves.

Oh, and what's even better than that? When they come to you on Father's Day and say thanks for all that you've done. Because no one is going to do Father's Day like you.
