1. They met through Instagram.
Just like any modern-day couple, Jeffree and Nathan met on the internet. Not only was it on the internet, but in true influencer fashion it was on Instagram. According to the couple's first Q & A session on Jeffree's YouTube page, Nathan DM'd Jeffree on Instagram as the first move in their relationship.
After several months of texting and video calling, Jeffree invited Nathan to fly out to Los Angeles to meet for the first time. What they admittedly thought would just be a weekend fling turned into something much more serious.
2. Despite the rumors, Nathan is not a gold digger.
The couple has been hearing for way too long that Nathan is only with Jeffree for his money. What helps put the rumors to rest is that when the couple started dating three years ago, Jeffree had not begun his makeup company or started his YouTube channel. The two started dating before there was ever any money to make the allegations true.
In fact, it was Nathan who encouraged Jeffree to start his YouTube channel and helped out when his cosmetic company started. Nathan was originally working with the warehouse and making sure the logistics behind Jeffree Star Cosmetics was running smoothly.
3. We won't be hearing wedding bells anytime soon.
Although Jeffree refers to himself as Nathan's wifey, the two have openly admitted that they're not rushing to get married. They believe there's no need to put labels on their relationship. They're both very happy together and are not sure how a slip of paper declaring their love will change how they feel.
So while marriage is not completely off the table, it doesn't look like it's happening soon. Also beware: the two love to wear jewelry on their fingers, don't confuse the sparkly bands for a wedding ring.
4. Jeffree and Nathan are parents of five furbabies.
Their children happen to be their five Pomeranian puppies. Their newest addition is lil-Drama who's only a couple months old. Naffree brought home three of the dogs together (Delicious, Daddy, and Drama), while Jeffree had Diamond and Diva before meeting Nathan.
But like the good dog daddio he is, Nathan adopted the two and treats them like his own. All the dogs (minus the new addition, Drama) were included in the Star family collaboration, having their own lip shades. Right now, they have no intentions on adopting actual children, just maybe more Pomeranians.
5. They've done a makeup collaboration together.
Speaking of the Starr Family makeup collaboration, Nathan and Jeffree put together their own cosmetic line under Jeffree Star Cosmetics called the Family Collection. The line includes six velvet liquid lips (named after Nathan, Wifey and their four puppies), two lip scrubs, and a highlighter.
While being together over the last three years, Nathan has learned so much about makeup and the cosmetic industry that he was very excited to be a part of this process and create a line with Jeffree.
6. Naffree also have a cannabis business they run on the side.
If you follow Jeffree's YouTube channel, you'll notice the couple are fans of smoking marijuana. While Jeffree claims to have never touched alcohol in his life, he admittedly is a big advocate for cannabis.
The two decided to partner in more than just their relationship and start their own Marijuana side business. They've learned the medicinal and healing properties of the plant, as well as the logistics behind the more practical and recreational uses.
7. Jeffree spoils Nathan with lavish presents.
While Jeffree treats himself to designer handbags and decked out Rolls Royce's, his gift-giving is not all self-serving. Nathan is known to get spoiled by Jeffree with lavish trips. This year for Nathan's birthday, the two went over to Bora Bora and had a magically romantic vacation.
In early interviews on Jeffree's channel, Nathan says how Bora Bora would be his dream location to visit. Making Nathan's dream a reality, the two got to explore the crystal clear blue water and snorkel with all the amazing coral and fish.
8. Jeffree is extremely close with Nathan's family.
Nathan grew up in Michigan and lived there his whole life before moving to Los Angeles. When it came time for Jeffree to meet Nathan's family, he was very nervous how he would be perceived to a family from the Midwest. He had said on his channel that the meeting could have gone extremely well, or horribly bad.
To Jeffree's relief, the meeting went really well and he's still very close to Nathan's family. They even join the couple on their holiday vacations to Hawaii. Jeffree has also featured both Nathan's father and brother on his channel with featured makeup tutorials.
9. The couple bought a home in Nathan's hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Since the couple is close with Nathan's family, they purchased a home in Grand Rapids. They often spend several weeks out of the year up there. Believe it or not, the makeup-loving guru also loves being out in nature and camping in Michigan when visiting.
While the two may seem very glitz and glamour to the media sphere, they're also your average couple that can put on sweat suits and hike through Michigan from time to time.
10. Jeffree is the first man Nathan has ever been with.
Before Jeffree, Nathan had only been with women. This caused the internet to go crazy with accusations against him and their relationship (where the rumors of Nathan being a gold digger spiraled from). Truth be told, Nathan admits to always having interest in men dressed like women, but considering he grew up in the Midwest, it wasn't somewhere he had access to.
11. Nathan broke Jeffree's seven-year single streak.
Before Nathan, Jeffree had taken time off from dating. In an honest chat featured on his YouTube channel, Jeffree admits to how difficult it was to have committed to serious relationships before Nathan. Since Jeffree's type is masculine, heterosexual males, it was hard to meet a partner that was open to dating in the public.
Apparently, a lot of straight, married, or divorced men would have flings with Jeffree. But while they wanted to have flings, they never wanted to publicly expose their relationship in hopes of keeping Jeffree a secret. 12. Nathan may be the reason behind the recent Manny/Jeffree feud.
There are allegations that nudes of Nathan are out in cyber space. As this raises some flags and possibly tension in the couple's relationship, it also brought on outside turmoil as the information leaked like wild fire. In a Twitter war, makeup artist Manny Gutierrez went on to say how he hated to see ex-friend's nudes on his Tumblr feed.
Jeffree very quickly assumed his comment referred to Nathan, and fired back by slyly releasing the name of Manny's new palette to the Twitter world. So while it's not 100 percent certain Nathan's nudes were the reason behind the recent fight between Manny and Jeffree, it's a strong possibility.
