They could have to compete against each other.

Gabby Barrett, 17, and Cade Foehner, 21, are the talk of American Idol and might be the cutest couple on the show!
The two met on ABC’s American Idol, where they are both doing quite well for themselves.
“I think he is very talented on the guitar, there is no other contestant who rocks the guitar and wins America,” Gabby said about Cade. “I mean he’s just… There is something very different about his voice. I have never seen anyone with such a natural stage presence like his either… Like ever! So he has got it all!”
Cade and Gabby have managed to make it into the Top 10 and both received very high votes on the latest episode. Cade earned 20 percent of votes while Gabby earned a whopping 31 percent.
American Idol is a competition, so it is possible Gabby and Cade could be the last two contestants competing against each other. Gabby had the sweetest reply when asked what they would do if it came to that.
“I told him that if me and him were the Top 2 that we should do a song together instead of a song against each other,” she said. “So we’ll see. We’ll see what happens!”
Both Cade and Gabby have been getting lots of attention for their performances and the thought of the two becoming the last contestants on American Idol this season is exciting due to their blooming romance.
“It should be very interesting if they get in the top two because they are for sure falling in love because they were in a constant flirtation with each other,” the eyewitness continued. “They tried to hide it but anyone that was paying attention could tell they really like each other.”
Cade chose to perform “Kiss the Girl” on Sunday’s episode and the judges put him on the spot by asking if he had anyone on his mind when he performed the song.
“Possibly,” he responded. His face turned red as said it was someone backstage.
The cameras quickly made their way backstage to Gabby, who was covering her face in her hands and laughing.
The romance between the young singers was caught behind the scenes at an after party for the show. They were seen getting cozy together and seemed to always be by each other’s side at all times. Every time a group photo came up, Gabby and Cade were connected at the hip.
“Throughout the entire 2 plus hours at the after party they tried and tried and tried not to hold hands but they couldn’t help it and held hands and kept rubbing each others’ elbows in a very romantic way,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life. “They kept staring at each other like high school sweethearts and anytime they would take a group pic with others at the party they’d always try to be next to each other to make sure they could touch each other.”
Oh, young love.
Though they've spoken lovingly about each other, neither of them has confirmed the romance.
