A disgraced surgeon gains power and begins to have powers with sorcery. Benedict Cumberbatch is refreshing as the Doc and it makes the movie one to remember.

If that doesn't convince you enough Rachel McAdams is in the movie... so that should be enough motivation. 


3. Batman

Everyone knows the story of Batman. This movie is the one that started the whole live action franchise from just a story to a blockbuster.

Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton are versing each other the whole time and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. 


4. Batman Returns

Michael Keaton is back as Batman but this time its to stop the penguin and cat woman from causing havoc all over town. This Batman film is edgy and action packed all in one.

Plus who wouldn't want to see Michelle Pfieffer in a catwoman suit?!?


5. Batman Forever

Batman is back but this time it isn't Michael Keaton. It's Val Kilmer and the whole story is here with new villains and new actions.

Two-face and the riddler are there this time to create havoc. The hits are hard the there is no lacking with any action in this film. Plus the villains are suuuuper entertaining.

6. Batman and Robin

Rotten Tomatoes: 10%

This film didn't get the best reviews but it is still definitely entertaining. Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze are the culprits this time with the film.

The dynamic duo of Batman and Robin try to keep their relationship together while still saving Gotham.

This is a superhero film you wanna watch when you're in the mood to see some action... and to laugh a little. 


7. Batman Begins

The beginning of the Dark Knight trilogy! Its action to the extreme and Batman never looked so good.

Christian Bale takes a step into the suit and the story takes off. Don't forget to get the other two movies because you are not gonna want to stop watching the series. 


8. 9

Talk about an unlikely hero. When a rag doll wakes up in a post-apocalyptic future. He is surprised to find out that he holds the key to saving everyone.

This movie is a refreshing take on a superhero who was in an unlikely position and does the impossible. 


10. V for Vendetta 

Rotten tomatoes: 73%

Coming from Alan Moore's graphic novel this story takes place in an alternative universe in Britain. One where chaos and violence are running wild.

V ends up saving Evey played by Natalie Portman and the story takes a turn.

Rebellion, justice and overthrowing the corrupt is what makes this superhero a hero in his own right.

11. Troy

Rotten tomatoes: 54%

It's the modern day tale adapted from the classic tale by Homer. The fight between Paris and Troy is over a woman. (Isn't it always about love?)

The battles are kick-ass and the action doesn't seem to ever stop. It's the ancient version of a superhero. Maybe even the first. 


12. Catwoman

Rotten Tomatoes: 9%

If anything you have to watch this movie for the soul purpose of Halle Berry. The first Catwoman movie and it screams sexy.

Whether it did well in theaters or not this movie will certainly keep you intrigued. 


13. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2

The first movie was a huge success and the second one will definitely not disappoint.  Chris Pratt and his team of guardians are in it to save the world yet again.

Packed full of laughs, intense action and refreshingly great chemistry with the cast. 


14. Hercules

The classic Disney movie that has everyone dancing and singing. This may be a cartoon but is not lacking in any department movie wise.

An oldie but definitely a goodie. 


15. Star Wars Rogue One

The Star Wars series is on its own Rogue mission with this new movie. A deeper look into the Star Wars universe takes on a whole new story.

Follow Jyn and Cassian as they try to save Jyn's father. It takes you to a new part of the universe and if you weren't hooked before you will be now.

16. Stardust

This is a storybook tale all packed into an action packed movie. Follow Tristan as he promises his heart to the prettiest girl in his village and tells her that he will bring her a fallen star. Who knew that getting a star would be so hard?
