A former contestant on The Voice recently released a new song responding to the rape accusations made by her best friend, Timothy Heller.

Earlier this month, Heller posted her own sexual assault story on Twitter. In it, she detailed about how Melanie Martinez asked her to have sex while they were laying in bed early one morning. Heller said she attempted to laugh it off and reminded her that she had a boyfriend.

"'He doesn't have to know, it's not a big deal,''" Martinez allegedly said.

"It went on for hours," Heller wrote. "Asking me WHY I didn't want to, that it would be fun. I repeatedly said no."

Heller said Martinez eventually gave up but tried again the next night. This time, Heller said she became increasingly persistent until she got her way.

"I never said yes. I said no," Heller wrote. "But she just used her power over me and broke me down. Just so there's no confusion, I was molested by the best friend."

Martinez denied the allegations and claimed that Heller never said no.

"I am horrified and saddened by the statements and story told tonight by Timothy Heller," she posted on Twitter. "What she and I shared was a close friendship for a period of time. We came into each other's lives as we were both starting our careers as artists, and we tried to help each other."

"We both had pain in dealing with our individual demons and the new paths we were forging, but I truly felt we were trying to lift each other up. She never said no to what we chose to do together. And although we parted ways, I am sending her love and light always."

And today, Martinez released a song accusing Heller of "lying" for "fame."

The song "Piggyback" addresses the rape claims with the following lyrics.

"You're lying your way to try and gain a piece of me," it reads. "Now you're trying to kill my name for some fame."

Though Heller hasn't addressed the song directly, she wrote on Twitter that people have asked her if she's profited from coming out.

"Keep seeing people say that I'm RICH now after all of this??? That's literally not how it works I'm still broke as hell and have a regular a-- job," she wrote. "Actually more broke than ever cuz I took off a lot of work during this whole ordeal."

Martinez has yet to publicly say whether or not the song is about Heller.
