zodiac signs who have no sense of humor

Not everyone can be born with a fantastic sense of humor. In fact, some people, even those who assume they’re funny AF, may think they have a sense of humor, but they just don’t.

While there’s nothing wrong with not having a sense of humor, per se, since humor is, for many, a natural aphrodisiac, in the grand scale, being a humorless person isn’t likely to get you too far — romantically, or otherwise. Your horoscope might even be telling you to lighten up.

Watch the video below for tips on how to improve your sense of humor:

And just like many aspects of your personality, the zodiac sign under which you were born can definitely play a big role in just how much of a sense of humor you have or just how much of a sense of humor you absolutely don’t have. So, yes, you may think you have being funny down to a science, but that actually might not be the case.

Here are the zodiac signs who have no sense of humor and are seriously lacking in the laughter department.

1. CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

Although Cancer is known to be somewhat maternal in how they interact with others, sometimes that maternal instinct wipes out any and all ability to laugh. Sure, life calls for seriousness sometimes, but if you can’t laugh, at least sometimes, life is going to be a total bore and everyone will think of you as a total bore. Basically, Cancer, if you don’t want to be considered the dullard of the party, laugh; it will do you good.

2. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Oh, Scorpio! Such a difficult bunch. For starters, you never really know what a Scorpio is thinking. Because of this they’re hard to read and aren’t likely to laugh even when you’re being hilarious. They’ll make an attempt at a joke, but unless you’re a fellow Scorpio, it will fall flat and actually feel a bit cruel. This is always why Scorpios should really stick with other Scorpios, as both friends and lovers. They can have their MIA sense of humor together.

3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

There’s nothing worse than someone who wants (read: needs) to be the center of attention and thinks they’re funny, but aren’t. Enter: Sagittarius. Known for being, well... for lack of a better word, sort of dickish, Sagittarius definitely can’t get their sense of humor on the straight and narrow, because it’s just not in the cards. So we let them get away with their attention-seeking ways and accept that there’s likely to be zero to no laugh when you’re with them.

4. CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Maybe it’s because they’re born in the coldest part of the year, at least in the western hemisphere, but Capricorn is just as cold as the months in which they’re born. And, sadly, that coldness extends to their sense of humor, too — meaning, it’s basically been frozen out and doesn’t exist. In general, Capricorn doesn’t even like to have much fun, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t know how to laugh either.

5. VIRGO (August 22 – September 22)

Detail-orientated Virgo is too focused on the particulars to have a sense of humor. It’s not that they don’t want one or that they don’t care they don’t have one, they just, well... don’t have one. Their meticulous nature makes them great for other things — like being a detective, for example — but a sense of humor, not so much.

6. ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

While Aries isn’t quite as stubborn as Taurus, they’re stubborn enough to not get the joke. Which is sad, because as natural leaders who like to be in charge, it would be awesome if they could lead the way and enjoy a giggle every once in a while, but maybe that’s asking for too much.
