You'd think that blowjobs are sort of like pizza — even when it's not the best, it's sort of still great. The truth is actually anything but. Sure, blowjobs are great and men love them, but there are an awful lot of blowjob mistakes we are making that are ruining the experience for men.
First of all, nothing that is painful is going to be pleasurable (well, unless you are into that sort of thing), so try to stay away from biting or jamming it. That's not going to be fun. And commit to it! Don't stop midway through, or show a lack of enthusiasm.
Part of a man's pleasure is knowing we're into it and into pleasing them. They love to watch us perform oral sex on them as much as they enjoy the act itself.
But there's so much more than that. Knowing how you use your hands, completely avoiding using your teeth, not ruining oral sex with chatter (though dirty talk is great), and not finishing what you started are all up there.
But in order to find out what men think about your poor techniques, we asked a bunch of guys to share what they believe are the biggest blowjob mistakes women make that really ruin the mood.
1. Using your teeth
"It's simple: Don't bite it and don't jam it."
2. Having a dry mouth
"If a girl has too small of a mouth, teeth happen. Dry mouths are awful, so it needs to be wet. Also, the girl needs to know how to use her hands and be able to finish what she started."
3. Tonguing his urethra
"Anything involving the urethra or pee hole is honestly the worst."
4. Talking to the penis like a baby
"I think an awful blowjob would be if a girl baby talks at it. That would be the worst."
5. Not using your hands
"If a girl uses her teeth or doesn't use her hands in conjunction, things get pretty messy."
6. Not finishing what you started
"If a girl doesn't finish, that's pretty awful. There's nothing is worse than blue balls. Also, if a girl has a bad gag reflex, that is no good."
7. Having an awful gag reflex
"If a girl can't go down very far or gags often, that's definitely a mood killer. Also, if she's read too many magazines and she just does weird testicle-licking tricks, I think she's probably pretty slutty."
8. Having a small mouth
"I think if her mouth is too tiny, that would definitely ruin it."
9. Not showing excitement
"If a girl doesn't have enthusiasm, that would definitely ruin it for me. She has to be excited."
10. Asking for commitment mid-blowjob
"If a girl asks me where the relationship is going in the middle of a blowjob, that would definitely be the worst oral sex ever."
11. Being inexperienced
"I think with everything practice makes perfect. So if a girl is inexperienced and seems unsure, that would definitely be an awful experience."
