Sorry, I didn’t get your text.

There are so many reasons to love texting, and choosing that way as a form of communication with someone special.
For starters, it's instant. It seems like the two of you are connected at that moment. That is as long as both of you are paying attention to your phone and ready to respond.
Long are the days when you have to phone someone and talk to them, now you can write out a text and press send. And you can tweak it an rewrite it until it’s perfect and is expressing exactly what it is you're trying to get across.
Sure, there are definitely some downsides to texting like the sense of false confidence that it can give you since you're not face to face with the person.
Some things have definitely been sent that were almost instantly regretted — maybe it was that risqué idea you had in the moment, or a fit of anger you let out through text. Either way, you wish you could take it back the second you pressed send.
Or it can turn out that people aren't who they say they are or seem to be from behind their screens. Kind of like false advertising.
Other then these couple downsides, for the most part, texting is great.

But because we are so accustomed to this sense of instant gratification given to us by texting, there is nothing worse than sending out a text and not getting one back.
You check you phone every few minutes, waiting to see a message from them pop up.
With all this obsessing we do over texting and text messages, is it even healthy for us and our relationships?
There is nothing worse than someone who has their read receipts on, and seeing the they read your message over an hour ago and decided not to respond.
But for those that you text that don't have the read receipts on, you are left wondering if they’ve seen your message. have they read it and decided to ignore it? Maybe texting just isn't their thing.
Or what if they didn't respond because they’re dead in a ditch somewhere. Was that a little aggressive? Well I know if I text my best friend and she doesn't text me back soon, I’ve just assumed the worse.
Or maybe, they have a good excuse for not texting you back that doesn't include them falling into a ditch.
Want to know which friend isn't texting you back because they’ve misplaced their phone? Or the friend who is too busy to spend her days chatting away through iMessage? It all has to do with zodiac texting habits. These zodiac signs have a specific reason they're not texting you back.
Aries (March 21- April 19)
If Aries hasn’t texted you back in a while, you should go and reread the last few things you said to her. The reason she’s giving you the silent treatment is because you said something to her that she flat out did not like.
And you probably should have known she wouldn’t be a fan of whatever you texted her, Aries is pretty open and good about letting you know what she likes and doesn't like.
Give her some time, she needs to get over this before she responds to you.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Don’t be surprised or think the worst is Taurus is taking particularly long to responds to you.
There is a high chance that she is napping and forgot to tell you, or flat out just fell asleep on the sofa while watching Netflix.
When she wakes up she’ll pick up the conversation as if two hours haven't passed since your last text.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Some text messages just don't warrant a response. It’s nothing personal, but Gemini definitely isn't going to go through the effort of messaging back when it’s just not necessary.
You might be left thinking you'd something wrong or she is mad at you, but just take a chill pill. Everything is fine.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
You know not to text Cancer after a certain time because she wont respond. She is already in bed. She is one of those girls that doesn't use her phone as an alarm clock because she has an actual one.
This means her phone is shut completely off and she is tucked away in bed. Any texts after a certain time will be dealt with in the morning.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo has a lot going on in her life. She is constantly on the move.
Sometimes her phone screen lights up and she checks it, but when it’s not a super urgent text or interesting enough to grab her attention away from whatever else she is doing, then you’ll get your response when she gets around to it.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo isn't responding to your text because you’re being annoying. Virgo puts up with a lot of things in her life, and the best part about her cell phone is that she can put it down and walk away from it when she needs a break.
If your spamming her inbox or being super unreasonable, she will simply remove herself from the situation.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libra isn't really into multi tasking, she likes to give whatever she is doing 100% of her attention. This includes her tv shows.
She needs to be completely emerged in the viewing experience so she doesn't miss anything, especially with her crib and suspense shows. She wants to solve it before any of the characters do.
So, she’ll get back to you during commercial breaks or in an hour or so when she’s don't with the episode.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio isn't really attached to her phone, but maybe that’s because she never is sure where she put it last.
Since she is constantly misplacing her phone, and in no rush to look for it, she can miss tons of text messages or put a hold on any ongoing conversations. She’ll find it soon enough and when she does she’ll totally text you back.
She might even tell you that she lost her phone for a while, but chances are she’ll just jump right back into the conversation.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius doesn't have a good reason why she didn't text you back for a while. She wasn’t intently watching tv, and she did misplace her phone. She honestly just forgot to!
The little red notification button on her screen doesn't really bother her.
Or worse, she opened your text and told herself she would respond to it later. Which she obviously won't do because she will forget about the text all together in about five minutes.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn honestly doesn't have time to waste on texting back and forth. She has so much going on in her life that a day can slip away before she checks her phone to see what’s going on with everyone.
But you’re not surprised when she doesn't text back because you know this about her.
Most people don't even text her to begin with because they know they wont be getting a response anytime soon.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is known as the girl who is always in search for someone with a charger for her to borrow. So when she all the sudden stops answering you, you definitely freak out for a while before you remember how bad she is at keeping a phone charged.
This is what you have some numbers of friends she’s with when she’s not wth you.
This way, on a Saturday night when she isn't responding you can still reach her and check on her through someone else's phone.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces will say she was too busy to text you back, but really she just has a short attention span.
She spent hours online shopping and flipping through bad reality television shows before she remembered the two of you were in the middle of a conversation.
She might tell you she misplaced her phone for a while or that she fell asleep, which are also two very highly likely scenarios for Pisces.
But, chances are she was just being unproductive with her day and with texting you.
