There are probably some people that you automatically think of and say to yourself, “She’s a total b*tch.” These types of mean girls always ruin your mood, even if you’re not in the same room as them.
If you’re like me, then sometimes the meanest people seem to be the answer to why everything is going wrong in your life.
Your heel broke on the way to work? Must have been her fault. Stuck outside the club in the middle of winter? She must be holding up the line.
Even if none of this is true (and chances are, it isn’t), it’s still nice to be able to blame things on someone you know you’re never going to get along with.
But if you’re one of these people who is considered mean, you probably don’t care what others think of you.

Some of the zodiac signs are the embodiment of this; if they all got together, they could probably be the real life Mean Girls (no lie).
These signs KNOW they’re mean and whether they are mean just because they can be or because it comes naturally to them, they are never ones to back down just because others don’t like their attitude.
But even then, the meanest zodiac signs aren’t always like this just because they feel like it.
In fact, they can all be incredibly friendly and approachable. But if you mess with them – or someone they care about – then you will no doubt feel their wrath.
Maybe they choose revenge to get even, or ice you out and pretend like you never existed, but when you have one of these signs mad at you, you better start thinking up ways to apologize, even if it seems impossible.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini acts as though she deserves the world, even if she is in a position where nobody really likes her.
She’s a mean girl in the way that she refuses to acknowledge you unless she knows that you will do something for her in return.
When she gets like this, it’s best to try to knock her down a peg (being egotistical isn’t a good look for you, girl), but that doesn’t always work.
If Gemini feels like you are resisting her in any way, she will get even meaner – if that’s possible.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo constantly acts like a princess and if you don’t treat her with the attention she thinks she deserves, she will come down off her high horse and tell you how she feels.
Because not everyone can be Leo, she doesn’t often try to relate to people.
Leo would much rather be mean to those she thinks can’t handle her instead of making a good first impression.
She wants to be liked, but she doesn’t really make it easy.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo can be very cold and calculated when she wants to be. But she doesn’t always like that side of herself.
When Virgo is in a bad mood, it can be hard to get through to her, which can explain why she gets snappish and irritable.
Virgo does a lot for her friends and family, but if they don’t appreciate her often enough, she can take out her bad attitude on them. Virgo usually acts mean until people learn to respect her more.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio tends to be mean to anyone who can’t deal with her loud, strong personality.
She can actually be very approachable, but if you make it known – no matter how subtle you are – that she is just a little too much to handle, her attitude will change on a dime.
When Scorpio is in one of her mean moods, it can be awhile before she snaps out of it.
She might not even be mad at you, but if you’re in her way, she’s most definitely going to take out her anger on whoever is closest.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn tends to hate everything and everyone after a while, which means if she is being rude or mean to you for no apparent reason, then it’s probably just Capricorn working through some stuff.
This isn’t to say that her behavior is okay (because it isn’t), but it does give you some insight into what’s going on in her head.
Capricorn doesn’t always know when she’s being mean; it’s definitely not something that she does deliberately.
But if you catch her at a really bad time, she might try to shrug off your comments about her attitude, even if she knows she’s being a little meaner than usual.
