The MTV star talks hooking up, partying and how being on reality TV has affected her dating life.

Every Wednesday, we will be sitting down with a reality star to talk love, relationships, and their experiences on reality TV. If there's someone that you're dying to hear from, comment below or tweet @emilylongeretta and she will try to get them to spill all! This week, we're talking to Marie Roda, a member of the current Real World and the upcoming Challenge: Battle of the Seasons 2.

From Staten Island to the Virgin Islands, one cast member of The Real World: St. Thomas is sharing it all exclusively with YourTango. Marie Roda, the dubbed "party girl" on the current MTV hit show, had a lot to tell us about her love life, how her parents felt about her reality TV fame and what we can expect to see from her on Battle of the Seasons 2.

"My parents were really worried at first," Roda explains about her folks' reaction to her landing on MTV. "But so far, so good! They're mad that I was drunk all the time, but I'm just being myself!" 5 Couples Destroyed By Reality TV

However, some castmates seem to think Roda was exaggerating her personality and acting differently for the cameras. "If I exaggerated … if for one second I took notice of the cameras, don't you think I would have put some makeup on?" Marie says, laughing at herself. "If I thought of something, I'd just say it!"

The 24-year-old started watching The Real World in high school, and first tried out for the season in San Diego. Instead, she was cast on the current season with a group of people whom she was forced to form relationships with (some more than others, but we'll get into that later). While she quickly became the fun and outspoken one on The Real World: St. Thomas, Roda will have you know she went to school at SUNY Albany for Political Science, and even did an internship on Capitol Hill (we bet you wouldn't have thought that!).

In her mind, coming on to the series as a single girl was the right way to go. But now, when thinking about future relationships, Roda prefers dating someone who has never seen her on TV.
