Anne Hathaway Moves In With Her Hipster Boyfriend

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway hasn't always been lucky in love, but it looks like her year-long relationship with boyfriend Adam Shulman is going swimmingly.

According to ShowBizSpy, that the handsome twosome recently moved in together, with Anne taking up residence in Shulman's Brooklyn apartment. The move represents a full circle of sorts for Hathaway, who was born in Brooklyn but moved to Milburn, NY with her family when she was six. Anne Hathaway Wants To Love Again

The actress, who has already been spotted shopping at Brooklyn Flea with her new beau, seems to be settling into the den of hipsterism. (The fact that she's co-hosting the 2011 Oscars with bizarro-sexy indie darling James Franco probably gives her more than enough cred to fit in nicely.)

According to People, Hathaway is proficient in the art of flea market haggling, and snagged a vintage Ralph Lauren blazer and an Alpaca poncho from Joan Van Hees. Thank goodness the brunette beauty is staying true to her classic style... we CelebLovers were afraid that the move to Brooklyn might come complete with pegged jeans, nerdy glasses and a rock-n-roll shag haircut.

For now, it looks like the actress's sartorial savvy is intact, and Hathaway is reportedly excited about shacking up with Shulman, who is also an actor. According to ShowBizSpy sources: "They’ve been together for a long time, so she’s confident about moving in with him."

We're glad to see Hathaway jumping back on the horse. If you remember, her 4-year union with boyfriend Raffaello Follieri ended in scandal when the real-estate magnate faced charges of misappropriating funds from a $50 million dollar donation from billionaire Ronald Burkle. He was sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison. Hathaway reportedly (and understandably!) felt betrayed and dumped the shady businessman in the middle of the brouhaha. The Wrath Away of Hathaway

Hathaway has spoken recently about her difficulties in love, and according to a November interview published by ShowBizSpy, Hathaway knows only too well that love has ups and downs. According to Hathaway, "Most people want love and the journey sometimes is really rocky to find it. It’s an exploration and an adventure always. It’s also one of the most wonderful parts of being alive and one of the worst parts of being alive when it doesn’t go well."

It sounds like she's a wise woman indeed. Here's hoping she's wise enough to stay away from jeggings and PBR.
