The Best Show On Netflix For Each Zodiac Sign To Binge-Watch
Let the stars be your TV guide.
One of the ways we relax is by streaming the best shows on Netflix. Oh, the joy in finding a special series and binge-watching it until you’re done! Of course, once you're finished with the series, there are feelings of sadness and emptiness. What will you watch now?
There are so many choices for the best TV shows on Netflix that it can become overwhelming. But when you don't know what to watch, astrology is a great way to determine which show your zodiac sign should be watching.
Your choice of viewing material is affected by what you’re in the mood for. Sometimes you just want something kind of mindless so you don’t have to make too much of an effort; other times you get a thirst for a certain kind of series, like true-life crime documentary, and you have to watch all of them.
There’s so much content on Netflix, including their own original content, that even if you just stick to one type of programming, there’s no way you could watch all of it. It’s much better to try and contain your choices or you may spend so much time trying to decide what to watch that you exhaust yourself and end up not watching anything.
One of the many good things about the many types of Netflix shows is that there is a healthy mix of old and new. And if you want to be able to form your own opinion on a series before you read all about it, catch it when it drops. In the mean time, here's the best shows on Netflix for all the zodiac signs.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19): Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
This show has everything: humor, suspense, and camp, that it would be impossible for Aries to ever get bored. Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has taken the original comic book and turned it dark, but not too dark.
There are thrills, chills, romance, and diversity. The show's sense of fearlessness, adventure, and change will appeal to Aries, along with the fact that it's extremely compelling. This isn't the Sabrina of the past; this Sabrina may resemble the comic book heroine, but she's not so innocent.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20): The Great British Baking Show
The Great British Baking Show is a great one for Taurus because not only does it feature mouth-watering baked goods, it's so pleasant and relaxing to watch.
Everyone is so kind and civil to one another, the humor is gentle, and any drama that's created is easily solved. Taurus can chill out and relax while watching, and that's something they desperately need.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20): Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat
This series is about so much more than food — it's about having a hunger for life, something that Geminis have a lot of. Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat stars chef Samin Nosrat, and while she does cook in each episode, it's not just a cooking show; it's a travel show, a reality show, and it's a show about the importance of sharing food with others, having the right elements to create the perfect dish, and how we feed our souls as well as our bodies.
Samin Nosrat's love of all things cooking and her effervescent personality is so winning. Geminis are big believers in connection and communication, and so is this show.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22): One Day at a Time
One Day at a Time is the perfect show for Cancers. The show is about 3 generations of a Cuban-American family living under one roof, but at its heart, the show is about love, family, and the strong emotional ties that bind us — everything that Cancers hold dear.
Some of the issues the show covers are things like LGBTQ acceptance, PTSD, mental illness. The fact that they're able to tackle some of these difficult issues with grace and humor is a bonus.
LEO (July 23 - August 22): Bodyguard
No, not The Bodyguard, just Bodyguard. This British series would appeal to Leos because it prizes some of the qualities that Leos themselves possess: loyalty, strength, intelligence, and bravery. It's about a Specialist Protection Officer who is assigned to protect the Home Secretary (a high position in the British government).
It may not sound very exciting or dramatic, but this series is both. It asks the question: how far would you go to protect someone, even if it meant putting yourself in danger? What happens when your duties and beliefs are at odds? Leos understand what the costs of being loyal and trustworthy are, and can relate to this show.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22): Tidying Up with Marie Kondo
Virgos value cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. In this show, Marie Kondo, the author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, helps various families to declutter and organize their stuff on this series — and she does it without shame and in the sweetest way possible.
Virgos will find it relaxing, enjoyable, it will help them to de-stress, and will encourage to be not quite as critical with themselves.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22): Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a comedy, but it's also a musical! It's everything that Libras need to brighten their spirits. The show is visually appealing, hopeful, and is filled with things (especially the musical numbers) to inspire and delight Libra.
This show will not only put Libra in a good mood, but it will also inspire and spark their creativity. Don't be surprised if Libra starts dancing and singing along with the actors.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21): YOU
The main character of YOU is Joe, played by Penn Badgley, and he somehow is able to make an obsessed stalker and murderer likable. Joe works at a book store, but his cyberstalking and internet skills are off the charts. The object of his obsession is Beck, and there's nothing he won't do to capture her heart.
Scorpios will be intrigued by the smarts and suspense of the show. Scorpios can be very determined when it comes to getting what they want, and they're also comfortable with revenge, just like Joe.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21): Sex Education
One of the things that Sagittarians love to do is laugh, and there are plenty of laughs in this British show, along with moments of insight, drama, and awkwardness. Plus, it has the always fabulous Gillian Anderson.
A series about a teenage boy and his sex therapist mother setting up a sex therapy clinic at school may seem raunchy, but it's actually touching and sweet. This show will appeal to Sagittarius' funny bone and their affection for humanity.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19): Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj
Capricorns have many facets to their personalities — they're diligent, hardworking, and conscientious while also sexy, irrelevant, and fun, so a show that is intellectually stimulating, funny, and political is a great match for them.
This weekly show shines a light on political issues but isn't dry or boring. Hasan Minhaj is an engaging storyteller and host. Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj will give Capricorns a unique perspective on political issues.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18): The IT Crowd
This show is perfect for Aquarius as it's very clever, smart, and hilarious, just like them. Since many Aquarians are fascinated by technology, they'll enjoy all the humor that's mined from it.
There are definitely some inside jokes for people who love computers, the internet, and have a little (or a lot) of nerd in them. The cast, comprised of Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, and Katherine Parkinson, are all great. The only problem with this show is that there are only 25 episodes!
PISCES (February 19 - March 20): The Hook-Up Plan
Don't let the name put you off; this French series ultimately is about love and romance — the things Pisces secretly treasures the most. This French rom-com is about a woman who can't get over her ex, so her best friend takes matters into her own hands.
It's about finding love — one of Pisces' favorite subjects — and the magic that is all around us, even if we can't see it.
