Lavinia Plonka and Rebecca Chaplin bring multi-generational wisdom to embodied relationships and expression. Lavinia’s almost forty years of experience in the fields of movement, body language and mindfulness are drawn from the theater, yoga, martial arts, and a lifetime of spiritual practice. She is a master teacher of the Feldenkrais Method, with several published books and audio programs that integrate Feldenkrais with personal development. Lavinia is director of Asheville Movement Center and teaches internationally. Rebecca Chaplin is a Somatic Sexologist. Through this art and practice, Rebecca facilitates body-centered learning, awareness and healing with individuals and groups. Rebecca brings over ten years of experience in mindfulness and spirituality through meditation, qigong, Reiki, ceremony and ritual. Additionally, Rebecca honors the art and beauty of aging with extensive work and training as a gerontologist. Rebecca and Lavinia offer workshops and classes to professionals and community members locally and internationally.
Combining youth and wisdom, sexual expertise with a deep understanding of the body/mind connection, Lavinia and Rebecca bring a unique approach to authentic sexuality and relationship.
