About Maxine Langdon Starr

I like to think of my client as the expert of their own situation. I cherish and appreciate the opportunity to experience a person's life story from their perspective. I specialize mostly in adolescents and young adults; or anyone who is undergoing a transitional period in their life; whether it be job loss or gain, death/loss of a loved one, a trauma, relationship change, or uncertainty about their next step in life.
I approach a person's unique strengths and areas they wish to improve on using an integrative approach. I believe no one person is exactly the same; why should their therapy be any different? I am passionate about assisting others to maximize their growth potential and appreciate their true selves.
I am comfortable leading sessions in Spanish and also speak French. I have extensive experience working with the Hispanic population. Por favor se puede contactarme si usted or alguien que conoces necesite ayuda en Espanol.
