Someone Losing Patience For People Who Won't Change Usually Says 6 Phrases In Casual Conversation

Maybe that's not such a bad thing. Instead of arguing or trying to get them to see reason, they make little comments that reveal how tired they are of the same old behavior. Which might just be the nudge they need.
People who are fed up with someone who refuses to change often say these phrases casually:
1. 'Do what you want'

When someone tells another person to just do whatever they want, they may be done trying to get them to listen. It's likely that they've already tried to help or expressed their concerns more times than they can count, and they're done repeating themselves.
So now, they tend to step back and let the other person make their own choices. They might still care, but they have no desire to fight a battle they know they will lose.
2. 'We've talked about this'
People who are running out of patience are usually frustrated that the same problem seems to keep coming up. They've previously shared how they feel and hoped something would click, but still nothing changes.
At this point, they don't want to waste their breath going in circles. They'd rather save their energy than have a conversation that leads absolutely nowhere.
3. 'Some things never change'
Those who have seen the same pattern one too many times often reach the conclusion that some people will never change. Maybe a person falls back on the same excuses or promises to do better, even though they'll never follow through.
There's sometimes a little sarcasm behind the comment, too. They've stopped expecting some big breakthrough and are starting to accept that certain people will only grow when they decide they're ready.
4. 'I'm not getting involved'

Most of the time, the best way that someone can protect their peace is by staying out of another person's mess. People who are getting fed up with others' behavior might decide that trying to help only leaves them caught up in the same drama.
They start keeping their opinions to themselves and watch people deal with the consequences of their own actions. It's a way of saying they've done their part, and they're no longer willing to take responsibility for things they didn't do.
5. 'I hope you figure it out'
Certain people have simply reached their limit with those who fall into the same patterns. After a while, it became clear that giving support only mattered if the other person was willing to take it.
There's still consideration behind the words, but they're done doing the emotional heavy lifting. Everyone has to learn specific lessons on their own, and it might mean making a few wrong turns first.
6. 'I don't care anymore'
When someone gets tired of investing in the same people who always leave them disappointed, they may stop caring altogether. They had convinced themselves before that change would come and things would get better, but when reality hits them, they give up.
Instead of getting worked up over every little thing, they start picking and choosing where their attention goes. They might sound blunt or unusually detached, but it actually means they're putting themselves first.
