On Saturday, “The Bold Type” actress Katie Stevens married music producer Paul DiGiovanni in Tennessee in front of 250 guests. If the groom looks familiar, it's because DiGiovanni is also the guitarist from the band Boys Like Girls. The two first started dating over five years ago and Katie says he knew he was the one in just the first few months of dating.

“Wow. Yesterday was the best day of my life, @paulblg,” Katie said Sunday on Instagram.

Katie, 26, wore a stunning form-fitted, lace, sleeve gown by Flora with L’Dezen jewels for the ceremony and looked absolutely gorgeous.

The couple also shared that music was a detrimental part to their big day. “Music is important to both of us. It’s what I do for a living, and Katie does a lot of it too, so that was a big thing for the wedding,” he explained. “We took a lot of time picking out all the songs,” the couple shared with Page Six.

So ... who is Paul DiGiovanni? More information on Katie Stevens' husband and their southern wedding:

1. Katie knew it was love at first sight.

Katie had some intuition that she and Paul were going to be together forever. “Our first date was five and a half years ago. 2. Paul’s mom was remembered at the wedding through a special detail.

“Paul’s mom passed away when he was 15, so I just wanted him to feel like she was with us,” says Katie. “His aunt gave me a piece of his mom’s wedding dress, and I had it sewn into Paul’s jacket on the inside and covered with a patch,” Katie also told People.

Katie worked with BJ Gray of Grayscale to incorporate a piece of the dress into Paul’s suit. Paul had no idea about this until their big day.
