Everyone loves a good celebrity fight. And if you’re anything like most of the petty people on the internet, you live for the drama. (Seriously though, we're all about the tea, so get to spillin’.) Some of the biggest feuds we’ve seen in Hollywood include: Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Elton John and Madonna, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, and Azealia Banks and literally everyone.

But what makes things even more interesting is when the feud isn’t between actors and musicians, but instead, talk show hosts or radio personalities. And that’s exactly what you’ll find with the latest Howard Stern/Wendy Williams feud.

Both are known for discussing controversial topics, with Stern being dubbed a “shock jock” for his salacious content and Williams being called a “shock jockette.” Over the years, each has found themselves in the media for the way they talk about certain issues, and Williams, in particular, is known for playing “devil’s advocate” and voicing opposing opinions just for the sake of having them.

Recently, Williams went after Stern on her show, The Wendy Williams Show. While discussing Stern’s upcoming book, which is his first in over 20 years, she went after him.

“Howard is so Hollywood right now. And Howard, I love you, but since you’ve gone Hollywood, everything you say is so predictable. Every story is going to be about, ‘Oh, I love this one, and then we went on their yacht.’ He’s a Hollywood insider, which sucks. You started like me, being of the people. But at some point you sat behind the microphone for too long and now you are the people. It hurts,” she said.

On Wednesday, Stern criticized Williams on his SiriusXM show, which was filled with cursing and low blows. “Jealous b****... You are nobody to me,” he said. You’ll never be me, Wendy. You’ll never be me. You can pretend to be me, you can pretend to be like me, but you’re not. You don’t have my wit and you don’t have my talent. You couldn’t have that career. You’re a fly.”

But the digs didn’t stop there. “What evidence do you have that I’m Hollywood, honey?” he went on to say. “I grew up a scumbag and I’m still treated like a scumbag... What, because I found success, now I’m ‘Hollywood?’ What, ‘cause I know Jimmy Kimmel? Who am I hanging out with? She doesn’t know who I’m hanging out with. She doesn’t know what I do in this world. She doesn’t know who I’m f***ing with... All she talks on that show is about Hollywood. That’s as Hollywood as you get. If anyone in Hollywood called her to hang out, she’d [be there] in two seconds. All of that is a projection!”

In addition to his rebuttal against her allegations that Stern has “gone Hollywood,” he also took offense to her brushing off how hard he works.

“Here’s my weekend: I go home, I write stuff for this show, I wrote stuff for my book, and then I stare at the wall waiting for the next show. I work my ass off on this show, day in and day out, to make sure that it’s good. Just shut up. Keep your opinion to yourself about me. I have struggled my entire life through thick and thin to actually get out there and do something that actually means something to people. That’s such an insult to me,” he continued.

Stern also made comments about Williams’ husband’s reported infidelity in their marriage, as well as her health complications. He said, “Worry about your husband, not me... F*** you and your dumb show and your mystery illness. She disappears for two months, nobody knows why, and now she’s questioning me? Thanks honey... I never fainted on my show either... I’m not somebody you want to f*** with, honey. I don’t want to hear your bulls***.”

Wendy tweeted about the things Stern said in response to her digs, and it seems she has no ill will towards him:

Unfortunately, we probably can’t say the same for Stern. When you spend your entire life working your way to the top, hustling to produce content that people enjoy and sacrificing your own time, it can be a smack in the face when someone questions you. And though perhaps Stern shouldn’t have made things personal, how else would you respond to someone saying things about your character?
