He may have started from the bottom, but Drake proves he's never forgotten where he came from with the release of new video for his song "I'm Upset" — which also happens to be the most epic Degrassi reunion that's ever existed.

Those who loved Drake when he played Aubrey Graham, were excited to see the familiar faces of Spinner Mason (Shane Kippel), Mia Jones (Nina Dobrev), Manny Santos (Cassie Steele), Emma Nelson (Miriam McDonald), Principal Simpson (Stefan Brogren) and Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith).

Even Rick (Ephraim Ellis), the man who infamously shot Aubrey and paralyzed him, made an appearance and was chased down by Drake's crew.

The timing of the video can't be ignored, of course, especially taking into light Drake's ongoing feud with Pusha-T, which most recently resulted in a diss track about Drake called "The Story of Adidon" in which Pusha-T he claims Drake has a secret love child with a Canadian porn star.

Their fight has been going on for years, and while many people thought Drake would release his own diss track in retaliation — especially after J. Prince claimed he had one in the making that would "end" Pusha-T's career — he took a surprising turn and instead released the video for "I'm Upset" and announced the release date of his new album.

However, people still believe Drake's recent choices have something to do with getting back at Pusha-T.

The new song is all about Degrassi and his former cast mates who were abruptly fired from the show in 2009.

"We basically all came to work one day and we were all kind of fired in our own way," he told the Daily Beast. "It was devastating for a lot of us. Our names were changed on our dressing rooms and we were like, ‘What’s happening?’ It was bothering me so I realized music was something I could take into my own hands and it was something I was good at, so I gave up acting for music.”

It's entirely possible the song and the references to his former show are an abstract way of expressing his anger and frustration over the feud with Pusha-T that just refuses to end.

In fact, fans on Twitter are suggesting Drake released the video in an effort to distract people from the diss track, as well as from those nasty allegations about a love child — and just in time for the release of Scorpionon June 29.
