Angelina Jolie might be crushing on her new costar, Ed Skrein.

She reportedly wants to see where things go with the 35-year-old hottie.

“Angie thinks Ed’s hot and she loves the idea of working with him,” a source told Star Magazine. “Obviously, he’s a great actor, but she’s also looking forward to chatting with him behind the scenes. She’d love to get to know Ed and find out what makes him tick.”

Angelina has a history of dating costars. She and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and an on-set romance turned into real-life love.

Ed and Angelina are co-starring in the upcoming movie, Maleficent 2, and she may want history to repeat itself (hopefully minus a divorce).

Their romance has not been confirmed by the costars, but rumors has it the two are flirting behind the scenes.

“If word gets out about her flirting with Ed, it will drive Brad nuts!” an insider said, according to Celebrity Insider.

1. He is a family man.

Ed has called himself a “family man” and is proud of it.

He has a 7-year-old son of his own, who could easily make friends with one of Angelina’s six kids.

During an interview, Ed said that being a dad to Marley is “the reason I was put on this planet and the most important part of my life.”

2. He doesn’t hang out with costars.

Ed, who has previously been on Game of Thrones, admitted that he is strictly professional and is not one to go out with his castmates.

"After premiere [parties] or events, some of the stars are like, 'Let's go out,' and I just go back to the hotel room. I am the most boring person!" he said during an interview.

3. He is starring in “Maleficent 2” alongside Angelina.

Ed is officially acting opposite Angelina in the upcoming sequel to Maleficent, according to Variety.

Angelina was reportedly involved in getting Ed the role.

She said his acting is of “star quality” and could spot his talent “from a mile away,” Hollywood Life reports.

The British actor is set to play the villain in the movie, which is expecting to begin filming any time now.

4. He’s been in some major movies and shows.

Ed landed a role as Ryan Reynold’s enemy, Ajax, in the 2016 film Deadpool.

He also popped up in HBO’s Game of Thrones, where he played Daario Naharis.

Ed is currently expected to play roles in the upcoming films In Darkness, Alita: Battle Angel and If Beale Street Could Talk.

5. He was stabbed when he was 17.

According to The Sun, Ed got involved with the wrong crowd and was stabbed in his back when he was just 17.

“That put me in the hospital for five days,” he said. “The doctor said if I hadn’t got there within 15 minutes I would have died.”

Ed admitted that he wanted to get revenge on the man who shot his but decided to “be the bigger person.”

“For the first few days I wanted to kill the guys who put me in hospital,” he told The Sun. “Then I realized you can’t fight fire with fire, because a lot of people get burned.”

6. He might be taken.

According to Ace Showbiz, Ed may be in a relationship with the mother of his son.

In 2015, they reportedly lived together with their son in East London and it is unknown whether or not this is still true.
