The Most Essential Step to Increasing Sexual Pleasure

Stress is often the enemy of sexual pleasure, but managing it isn’t always easy.

Often, people try to simply shut the feelings out instead of finding methods for releasing the tension. But giving yourself a chance to cycle through your stress can be the key to actually finding relief, making it an important part of your life.

So, if you find yourself wanting to know how to increase sexual pleasure when you're battling stress, consider the following:

1. Create activities that help you alleviate the burden.

Some prefer to exercise, using a good kind of stress to counteract the bad, while others prefer a massage, pampering self-care, or even meditation. Even taking a minute to cry or scream can help release the tension.

2. Choose your battles wisely.

Seriously, sometimes it just doesn’t matter. Don’t pick a fight unnecessarily. Let things go and focus on what is working right now.

3. Schedule time for yourself.

If you are overworking and constantly juggling lots of things, you will have a harder time relaxing. And sex and pleasure are all about relaxing.

So, take your calendar out and pencil a date with yourself to do nothing or explore your body.

4. Have some fun in nature.

There is nothing like spending some time outside and letting the sunrays radiate your skin. Believe me, you will feel rejuvenated right away. Relaxing allows you to feel open to new experiences.

5. Talk nicely to yourself.

You are with yourself all the time, but you are not always kind to yourself. Imagine what it would be like if you would just comfort yourself the next time you made a mistake and say to yourself, "It's ok, there is nothing wrong with you."

Oh, what a difference that would be.

6. Repair emotional hurts and let go of emotional baggage.

To start feeling in control of your life and living fully, process what is holding you back and start living like that confident person you dream about.

7. Get some sleep.

We know that getting enough sleep is key to everything. And, when it comes to sex, please be honest with yourself and assess when you feel the most energized. Choose that time to have some fun with or without your lover.

Sexual pleasure is all about feeling sure of yourself, letting go, and not worrying about your to-do list. It is an act of self-care and one that you can start to implement today.

So don’t let the worries of life bring you down and start to release whatever is keeping you from experiencing the pleasures of life. Because once the tension is released, you may find yourself in a better position to take on some tension that produces more favorable results.
