I know, I know, we have all been brainwashed to think that "sexy" is a perfectly rounded butt, voluptuous, perky boobs, a flat stomach, and perfect skin. In fact, if you haven't already heard (and thankfully most of us have), even cover photos of the most beautiful women in the world have been airbrushed and touched up.

They are brainwashing us and it's time we all stand up and say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

SEXY is a FEELING!

You CAN claim the sexy feeling inside of you. You can inspire that feeling in another and you CAN manifest amazing and unexpected results. 

My thanks to a Kirpalu teacher who led me through this exercise (which I can say is definitely way more powerful when done in a group! Unfortunately, I can't remember her name, so if anyone reading this knows her, let me know and I will give her the shout-out she's due!

Here goes: Put on some music that you like to dance to, that makes you feel sensual or sexy. Choose something that makes you lose yourself in the moment and open to whatever comes up next without having to think about it (and most certainly not overthink it!).

Next, take a few deep breaths, and really let yourself become present to the moment. Then I want you to slowly, lovingly, caress first your belly and then your butt, saying all the while,

I LOVE MY BELLY, I LOVE MY BUTT!
I LOVE MY BELLY, I LOVE MY BUTT!

I know...I've had clients who are a size 0 flinch at the thought. It's awful how critical we can be sometimes — actually, for some...all of the time.

In this exercise, you are pausing, putting a mute button on your inner critic. You are showing up for yourself, your body and what's possible by really sending sexy positive and loving vibes through the tips of your fingers, connecting with your open heart and wise mind, and telling your body exactly what's true, what you so need to hear.

LOVE YOUR BELLY AND YOUR BUTT. Love them exactly as they look and feel in this moment.
