I Wish You Saw Yourself The Way I See You

I see these people around you and can't help but wonder if they know the side of you that I know.

Hey you,

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to get to know you for the past few years. We’ve created a relationship that went from being super casual and barely acknowledging each other to becoming inseparable.

You’ve easily become one of my favorite people on the planet. I don’t think I’ve ever clicked with anyone as easily as I have with you.

You’re an incredible person. I could go on and on about why this is, but for me, the main reason is that you’re unapologetically yourself.

You have a way of not caring what people think of you. And when you open up to someone, you have a presence that makes everyone feel welcomed and noticed.

You doing this has given me the opportunity to come out of my shell and be myself. And that says something about you, because I don’t do that for just anyone.

You have this way about you that draws people in, like a magnetic force. People notice when you enter a room, lighting up any space you walk into. This makes people gravitate toward you. Can you blame them?

Your smile is so welcoming and your laugh is so contagious that you just bring joy to those around you.

You have a way of making people feel seen and heard. And for people like me, who are often overlooked and forgotten, that means a lot.

You’re amazing! I’ve said all these things about you that everyone notices, yet I feel like you’re still unaware of just how amazing you truly are.

I’ve noticed that you surround yourself with those who may not have the best intentions. Sure, they might be attractive and fun for the time, but what happens when you’re done spending time together and you go your separate ways? Do you ever see them again?

I see these people around you and can’t help but wonder if they know the side of you that I know.

This is the side with intelligence, kindness, humor, and so much more. Or do they just see a handsome face and think “you’ll be a good time”? Because if they don’t, then man, they’re missing out on an incredible person.

Don’t get me wrong, you’re an attractive guy. I think everyone can see it. But that’s just the cherry on top of everything else.

I’m not sure what happened in your past. I don’t know if someone made you feel as if you are nothing more than just a handsome face, but I do know that you are so worthy of an amazing love story.

You have such an incredible soul and heart. You deserve someone who is going to cherish and admire everything you have to offer on top of your looks.

I would love to be that person for you one day, but I want that to happen when you know that you deserve it. Love yourself and it will find you at the perfect time.

I really hope we get our story. But if we don’t, just know that you have left an imprint on my heart.
