instagram The Masked Singer spoilers ahead! Another season of The Masked Singer has begun, and a lot of the fun of the show is trying to crack the mystery of which celebs are hiding behind which masks... and for Season 3, these masks are pretty incredible.
Case in point: The Taco, which happens to be one of the most unique costumes the show has debuted so far.
So who is the Taco on The Masked Singer? Here's everything we know — although at this point, there's a lot of room for guessing.
1. The Taco mask seems to have a sassy personality.
Just looking at this photo from the show's Instagram, it's easy to see that there's a lot of personality here. The celeb inside might be a bit sassy, given the pose they're doing for the pic.
Unfortunately, there isn't a lot about their identity that's revealed from this costume otherwise — from that head and body, it's hard to say if it's a man or a woman, and they're pretty well-concealed in their costume.
2. Whoever's inside won't be performing until later this season.
There are 18 contestants this season (the most there have ever been!), so it makes sense that they'd have to perform in groups.
The Taco belongs to Group B, which means they'll take the stage sometime after the first few episodes have aired , and that means that no new clues were revealed about them on Sunday night's premiere. Bummer!
3. One theory is that the Taco is Danny Trejo.
Fans on the Masked Singer subreddit seem to think that Trejo is an option, because the Taco is, well, a taco... and happens to be posing in front of a taco truck. Trejo has his own taco business — Trejo's Tacos — with multiple locations, so it would make sense if he was dressed like one for the show.
4. Others think it could be LeBron James.
Being that James is a huge fan of tacos (and even tried to trademark Taco Tuesday) another theory is that the NBA star is behind this mask. That would be pretty awesome, but also very surprising, considering that it's currently basketball season and he's a very busy man.
But hey, this is The Masked Singer we're talking about. Anything could happen.
5. Fans on Instagram are guessing who it could be.
On the Masked Singer's official Instagram, fans are guessing that it might be comedian George Lopez — or, given the presence of the food truck, that it's a celebrity chef like Guy Fieri. Seems like there are definitely a lot of ways this could go.
6. The Taco performed for the first time.
He brought major Frank Sinatra vibes to the stage when he performed "Fly Me To The Moon," and on performance alone, it's hard to say who he might be — just that his voice sounds like he may be an older man. However, based on the clues given, fans are guessing that the Taco is TV host Tom Bergeron. Time will tell!
7. But who is the Taco on The Masked Singer? All will be revealed soon.
Hopefully, in the next few weeks, we'll get to see the Taco perform again, and we'll have a better idea of who it could be. 'Til then, there are a lot of other contestants to watch.
