Congratulations are in order to the happy couple!

Who is Thomas Kail? Michelle Williams is an actress that has experienced extreme highs, and extreme lows, at the same time. She had a great love affair with Heath Ledger, and that love affair produced a daughter, Matilda.
Needless to say, when Ledger died of a drug overdose, Williams was in agony, and was very publicly mourning the man she once called "the love of her life."
Now, however, it seems she's found her happiness again, and this time, in the form of Hamilton director Thomas Kail. Let's look at what we know about him and their relationship.
1. Who is Thomas Kail? He's a Kennedy Center honoree and a director of the hit Broadway play Hamilton.
Kail is a Kennedy Center honoree who is best known for directing the hit Broadway play Hamilton, which he directed in both its on-Broadway and off-Broadway incarnations. He also directed Lin-Manuel Miranda's previous play, In The Heights.
Kail also took his talents to the small screen — specifically, by serving as the director for Fosse/Verdon, which starred Michelle Williams and Sam Rockwell. It was on the set of Fosse/Verdon that the director and the actress first met.
2. Kail and Williams' pairing comes less than a year after her divorce.
Though Williams and Ledger never married, she married Phil Elverum in July 2018. The wedding, which was done "in secret," didn't last long, and the couple split in April 2019. She was also linked to director Spike Jonze and actor Jason Segal, in the past.
3. This will also be the second marriage for Kail.
Though little is known about Kail's dating life, he was previously married to actress Angela Christian. Christian, who is mostly known for her theater work, also had a few guest-starring roles on television shows like Law & Order and House of Cards.
However, little is known about her marriage to Kail, or even when they got married or even divorced.
4. Williams' pregnancy was revealed when the couple was spotted shopping for maternity clothes.
Williams and Kail are currently in London, England, where Williams is shooting the sequel to the hit anti-hero film Venom, opposite Tom Hardy. The duo was spotted outside of a London maternity shop, looking for maternity clothes for Williams, which basically "revealed" that Williams was expecting a child with Kail.
But neither a rep for Williams nor a rep for Kail gave an official comment about the matter.
5. Williams also said she 'never gave up on love.'
Williams' relationship with Kail should come as no surprise. In the past, she has said that despite losing her great love when Ledger died, she 'never gave up on love.'
"I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.’ Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free," she said, speaking of her now-ex-husband at the time.
6. Kail is halfway to EGOT status.
Kail, who is best known for his work on Hamilton, isn't just an ordinary director. In addition to winning a Tony award for his work on Hamilton, Kail has won an Emmy for his work directing Grease: Live.
It should be interesting to see where he gets the Oscar and the Grammy but whatever the case, congratulations are in order for Kail, and additional congratulations are in order for both Kail and Williams as the happy couple celebrates the impending birth of a new child!
7. They were recently spotted wearing rings.
The secretive couple was recently spotted wearing what looked to be matching wedding rings, sparking rumors they may have quietly tied the knot. A source declined to comment or confirm the rumors, so you'll have to decide for yourself. But if the rumors are true, congrats to the couple!
