Wait, is Cody Simpson cheating on Miley Cyrus right now?

Could Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus already be moving on — or is Cody Simpson cheating on Miley Cyrus? Last we checked, the unexpected couple was going strong. But now, it looks like Simpson might be seeing someone else.
On Saturday, Simpson was spotted out and about with model Jordy Murray. In the photos captured by paparazzi, they didn’t give off any vibes that would necessarily indicate anything other than friendship, but it’s hard to say what’s really going on.
But who is Jordy Murray? Is Simpson dating her now instead of Cyrus? Here’s what we know.

1. Who is Jordy Murray? She's a model and December 2019’s Playmate.
Murray is 26 years old and was named December 2019’s Playboy Playmate. She’s from New Jersey but now lives in Los Angeles, and in her Playboy profile, she opened up about what modeling for the magazine meant to her.
“My friends and family were all super supportive of my decision — not that they had a choice; I’ve been running around naked since I was five years old,” Murray said. “With any concerns that I encountered, I reminded myself that I was doing it because I wanted to. If female nudity offends some people, that’s fine. If others think that female nudity undermines the word and ideal of feminism, that’s also fine. I don’t agree with either of those sentiments, and I’m so proud of what we created for this issue.”
2. She shares her adventures on Instagram, modeling and otherwise.
Although a good bit of Murray’s Instagram feed is all about sharing her professional work, she also shares selfies and travel photos, like the ones she posted from her visit to Copenhagen earlier this fall.
3. Simpson and Cyrus haven’t posted new couple-y photos on Instagram for awhile.
Toward the beginning of their relationship, Simpson and Cyrus were all about sharing the PDA online. But lately, that hasn’t been the case.
Simpson’s last appearance on Cyrus’ Instagram was on Halloween, while Simpson posted a video of him and Cyrus on November 23rd. Between the lack of social media love and Simpson being spotted with Murray, it’s easy to see why people might be speculating that he and Cyrus are over.
4. Is Cody Simpson cheating on Miley Cyrus? He denied he's dating Murray.
In a statement from his rep, Simpson shut down rumors that anything was going on between him and Murray, claiming that the photos that surfaced are just of him spending time with a friend.
“There is absolutely no truth to this story,” his rep said on December 23rd. “Cody went out with a friend and all the rest is fabricated. Period.”
5. Simpson’s sister Alli claims that he's still with Cyrus.
Alli Simpson has echoed her brother’s rep statement, sharing in an interview on December 23rd that Simpson and Cyrus are still together and that Murray is actually dating a friend of Simpson’s.
“They’re together for sure,” she said. “[Jordy] is his best friend Ryan Mcarthy’s girlfriend of a few years. He’s visiting him for a couple days.”
6. Cyrus seems to be focused on her family.
Cyrus seems to be spending the holidays with her family in Nashville, according to her Instagram story, and has yet to speak out about the rumors involving Simpson and Murray. For now, though, it seems like she and her Australian BF are just as together as they ever were... until further notice, of course.
