There are some people that seem like such fun to be around, and Gary Janetti is definitely one of them. In a negative, hate-filled world, to see someone who clearly has a light and a joy about themselves, and a desire to make the world a better place, is a wonderful thing. So who is Gary Janetti, and why is he our new favorite author and Instagram follow?

An American writer and producer by trade, Gary Janetti has written for several television shows, including Family Guy and Will and Grace. Recently, too, he wrote the British sitcom Vicious. But lately, Gary Janetti isn't known for writing for television — he's known for his infamous Instagram page, where he takes a satirical look at the British Royal Family by pretending to be Prince George of Cambridge. Using the guise of the heir to the British throne, he has made remarks that imagines the child as a Triumph the Insult Comic Dog-like character, making snide remarks about his appearances in the media, and making particularly catty remarks about Duchess Meghan Markle of Sussex.

Recently, though, Janetti said that he was taking a more sympathetic approach to the Duchess Meghan swipes, especially once the former actress revealed the struggles she was enduring as a new member of the British Royal Family.

1. He has a very devoted fanbase. 

Gary Janetti's fanbase is nothing if not devoted. On his Instagram page, you can see him "take the piss" out of the British Royal Family. "Prince George" takes a cynical approach to everything from Duchess Meghan to his younger siblings, Charlotte and Louis. 2. Gary Janetti recently said that he would go much easier on Duchess Meghan. 

"The way I see it, in my world, she is family, they are family, and George rallies around family. Now he sees that people and the press have piled on her, he doesn’t like it, and he’s rallying around the family. As of now, Meghan — he wants to take her under his wing. Now we’re seeing George might secretly like her. You know, he does not like to kick somebody when they’re down," he told People exclusively after it was revealed in a new documentary that Meghan Markle was struggling with media backlash.

3. Lisa Rinna's go-to comment, "Gary," has become a meme in and of itself. 

In another report for PeopleGary Janetti revealed that one of his most devoted fans is Lisa Rinna, an actress who is best known today for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The outlet reports that her one-word comment, "Gary," has become a go-to that means both love and chastisement.

4. Gary Janetti is married to Brad Goreski.

Gary Janetti, who splits his time between Los Angeles and New York City, is married to his longtime partner, celebrity stylist and television personality Brad Goreski.
