As predicted, Season 6 of Bachelor of Paradise has been bringing the heat, with bingeworthy drama of romantic highs and lows that we keep us hooked; however, viewers won't be seeing the budding relationship between our nation's hottest sweethearts, Whitney Fransway and Connor Saeli. Amid everything else that's going on, the pair's current dating situation has been a trending topic of discussion recently, and with good reason: there's many, many players and factors involved.
Not exactly sure who Whitney Fransway is? If you're out of the loop, keep reading. Here's all the details you need to know about her love story, and how it all began. Who is Whitney Fransway?
1. The brunette beauty made her claim to fame on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor.
At the time, the then 25-year-old Pilates instructor from Minnesota didn’t make a lasting impression. We didn’t really see their chemistry and connection unfold on the show, and the romance, according to Viall, just wasn’t there. So inevitably, she was eliminated during week six. Since then, Fransway has garnered interest and developed her own fandom, thanks to her social media presence, tight-knit circle of friends that includes Kristina Schulman and Caelynn Miller-Keyes and dating history with Brody Jenner.
2. She now has her eyes on Connor Saeli.
Connor Saeli was the heartthrob who instantly became a fan favorite on season 15 of The Bachelorette. We fell in love with him from the start: he’s a big family guy, traveler and an all-around great dating option from any woman’s perspective. This summer, Saeli headed over to Bachelor in Paradise for love and connection, but we all know how that ended up for him. We’ll get more into that later.
3. Connor Saeli was caught up in a steamy love triangle.
For those living under a rock, Saeli initially had feelings for former Miss North Carolina, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who was part of the contestant roster in Colton’s season. Miller-Keyes brought some emotional baggage this season, and we can't say that we blame her. She was royally dumped by Dean Unglert, who felt that their future was bleak beyond the show. From there, she and Saeli develop a thing on the island, amassing tons of media and fan attention. But alas, Caelynn runs back to Dean who wants to give their connection another shot, leaving Saeli solo in the dust. And of course, we now know Saeli left the show before finding a suitable sweetheart, right before Miss Fransway came on to the scene.
4. Whitney and Connor immediately hit it off at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielon's wedding.
According to Reality Steve, sparks were flying between the two at this highly anticipated and televised event. Connor then waited around for Fransway to arrive, but to no avail. He grew impatient, and in a series of unfortunate events, left the island before anything could happen. When Fransway did arrive, it’s believed that she really, really wanted him there. Many fans argue that the producers missed a major opportunity to leverage their passion for more generated buzz, because let’s be real, it would’ve been fascinating to watch their drama unravel. However, they did feel bad about the poor timing, so they arranged a mini-romantic vacay for the two while they were both in Mexico.
5. Whitney recently brought Connor as a guest to Rachel’s wedding.
Not all hope is lost, though. On August 24th, Fransway and Saeli were spotted as each other’s dates at Rachel Lindsay’s wedding. Though the event also took place in Mexico it wasn’t filmed but it still made headlines, bringing a lot of juicy gossip to the surface including this factoid. Fransway has been close friends with Lindsay since they met in the limo, and she couldn’t be any happier about her bestie's decision to tie the knot with Bryan Abasolo.
6. The new couple has not gone public with their relationship.
Sources say the duo is still very much into each other, despite keeping their love status quiet. This probably has to do with the fact that the Bachelor in Paradise season finale isn’t scheduled until September 10th, with the reunion airing later in the month. It’s clear that they’re keeping things hush-hush until things with show die down. Hopefully by then, they’ll still be happily dating and get some much-needed screen time.
