After he disappeared, authorities weren’t sure where he went. But now, according to RadarOnline, he’s been found.

At 71 years old, LaBeouf is living in a resort town in Costa Rica, and he’s been taunting police. He posted on social media, “It’s a good day in San Juan de Dios Costa Rica,” and in another post, wrote, “Hahaha. I was just texting a friend when it occurred to me how blessed I am.”

Unfortunately for the police, they can’t do anything. Said one insider for the LAPD, “There is nothing anybody can do at this time if he’s in Costa Rica because extradition is so difficult.”

The film is about their relationship, believed to be the cause of Shia’s troubles. According to Esquire, the movie is “a child actor and his law-breaking, alcohol-abusing father attempt to mend their contentious relationship over the course of a decade.”

“My dad is the key to most of my base emotions. My greatest and my worst memories are with my father, all my major trauma and major celebration came from him. It’s a negative gift. And I’m not ready to let go of it, because anger has a lot of power,” he revealed in a 2014 interview.
