Are Shia LaBeouf and FKA Twigs dating? That’s the latest speculation swirling around the Hollywood rumor mill. But are the two actually a couple? It turns out, you can bounce back from heartbreak almost immediately.
Back in 2016, LaBeouf married actress Mia Goth after meeting on the set of Nymphomaniac in 2012. After dating for four years, they tied the knot in an Elvis-themed Las Vegas wedding, officiated by an Elvis impersonator. How’s that for unique?
But their romance came to an end earlier this month with a rep for the actor saying, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
According to a friend close to Goth, she said that she ended the relationship months ago: “Everybody in their circle knows that Mia and Shia are separating. She's spending her time between London and New York while he's currently in London. Mia had been having some problems with Shia. It was a very crazy relationship and he's very fiery. She has told her friends that she can't take anymore. When he was preparing for a part, Mia would keep away from him and move out because his rehearsals were so intense.”
But LaBeouf hasn’t spent much time wallowing and has already found a new flame. On September 25th, LaBeouf and Twigs were spotted leaving her London home to go grocery shopping. Twigs revealed that “we are very happy, we are having a nice time” when pressed for more information over the intercom in her home.
People may recognize FKA Twigs from her high-profile relationship with Robert Pattinson. The two were together for two years and had gotten engaged before calling it quits in 2017.
A source confirmed that the couple broke up because of distance and spending too much time apart, saying, “He is on a press tour and she is working on her new album. And I think it’s timing. They’ve been all over the place. They have not seen each other in probably two months.”
Luckily, Twigs has also bounced back from her broken engagement and found love again in LaBeouf. The two met on the set of LaBeouf’s latest movie, Honey Boy, earlier this year. During the summer, they were spotted together a few times out in London, but this is the first time we have confirmation that they are an item.
