20 Inspirational Quotes For College Students To Keep You Motivated

Yes, it’s that time of year again. It’s a time where parents rejoice while children cry. The dreaded day comes ever-closer as supplies are bought to prepare for the new year. As a recent college graduate, I’m happy I’ll never have to hear these words again.

That’s right, it’s time to go back to school.

Aside from being able to see your friends again that you haven’t seen in a couple months, I don’t really understand how or why anybody would be excited to go back. There are plenty of teachers that you don’t really want to see again, not to mention all of the homework they give you immediately. And unless you’re a major social butterfly, there’s bound to be a few people you could live without.

Overall, school can be a pretty miserable experience for some. You get up at 7:00 A.M. and get ready to either catch the bus or drive yourself. You sit through hours and hours of classes and then after you might be going to either a club or practice for a team.

All in all, getting back into the swing of things at the start of the semester can be pretty grueling. Looking back at the K-12 schedule while I was a college student, I don’t even know how I made it through each day without getting burnt out.

Of course, if you are a college student reading this, you’ve got a whole ‘nother set of problems. I’d hope by now you’d have where you’re going to live nailed down, but that doesn’t change the fact that you gotta be able to come up with the money to pay for everything. And have fun with that randomly required math class that there’s no reason for you to take.

Don’t get me wrong, I found ways to have fun both in high school and college, but it wasn’t like the stresses of school just vanished either. It can be tough and sometimes our own pep talks or ones from others just don’t provide enough motivation.

So if you find yourself lacking motivation to go back to school, or you’re the parent of a student like this, here are some inspirational quotes to get you focused and ready to start the year off on the right foot.
