For fans of reality television, TLC has been a never ending cycle of binge-worthy content. With shows like 90 Day Fiancé, 19 Kids and Counting, Sister Wives, I Am Jazz, Long Island Medium, and Cake Boss, just to name a few, The Learning Channel certainly helps us learn ... about polygamy, green card marriages, and channeling the dead.

But one show may actually teach us something about life from another perspective is My Big Fat Fabulous Life. The show, which premiered in 2015, follows the life of Whitney Way Thore, a woman who weighed 380 pounds, as she goes through a weight loss journey. Thore received praise in 2014 after making a dance video called “A Fat Girl Dancing,” leading to media appearances and eventual deal with TLC.

Part of appearing on a reality television program is exposing your personal life to the world. And as we just learned, it appears Thore may have a new man in her life. Who is Whitney Thore’s boyfriend?

On July 7th, Thore posted a selfie with her new beau on Instagram, captioning it “[alien] documentaries all. night. long.” and tagging him.

Though she didn’t straight up confirm that this mystery man is her boyfriend, it’s safe to assume he is, especially after one fan posed a question. The fan commented, asking if the man in the photo was gay. And Thore responded, “He wasn’t last night.” So, yeah, safe to say he’s not gay, right?

But just who is this guy? His instagram handle doesn’t give any clues about his name or career, but it seems he’s super-into Thore, posting a photo on his own account, captioning it, “If you don’t know, now ya know” about three weeks ago.

It also seems like he’s pretty active, posting photos of him and his friends golfing, hiking, and fishing. Perhaps we’ll see their relationship unfold on the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life?

If that isn’t enough confirmation for you that this is Thore’s boyfriend, maybe her posting a photo of him and her cat in bed will be enough:

In the meantime, Thore has a lot going on in her life in addition to a new relationship. Aside from appearing on the show, she’s dedicated her time to talking about body-shaming and shutting the haters down.

Recently, people accused her of photoshopping her photos on Instagram to appear thinner, to which Thore immediately responded with proof that she doesn’t. She posted a screenshot of her recent images, some with her new boyfriend, showing that she looks exactly as her photos appear.

She captioned the photo, “Sometimes the internet KILLS ME. In my last post I was trying to celebrate a birthday (thank you for all the sweet compliments and birthday wishes for @severinbro7!) but I keep seeing accusations of me using photoshop. I’m not sorry my face doesn’t always look as fat as you want it to. I will never, NEVER manipulate my photos digitally to make myself look thinner. So here ya go, straight from the camera roll. You’re welcome for the cleavage pic, too.”

Perhaps, along with her boyfriend to cheer her on, she will continue to lose weight. In fact, back in April, she revealed that she “unintentionally” lost 50 pounds with a new workout routine. Still, people complained! Can you believe the gall of some individuals?

“They don’t want to see you working out, and it’s so ridiculous because the people who maintain that I should lose weight should be applauding me, if that’s what they think I should do, and yet they still find a way to criticize me. It’s just fat phobia and I don’t listen to it,” she told People. “The thing is, exercise is a healthy behavior, it’s something you can do or not do. Whereas losing weight is not a behavior that you can just do. You can lose weight or you can not, but regardless exercise will benefit you in a million other ways.”

For now, forget the haters and focus on your new love. Keep rockin’ it, girl!
