Who Is Carlos Rivera? New Details On The 47-Year-Old Man Arrested In Chloe Ricard's Death

Facebook What could be more heart breaking than finding out your 13-year-old daughter has died? The family of Chloe Ricard is looking for answers as they are shaken up by what happened to their daughter. Chloe had such a full life to live. Who is Carlos Rivera and what happened on Chloe's last day?
1. Gone Too Soon
13-year-old Chloe Ricard was found in front of the emergency room at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts. According to the authorities she didn't even have a pulse when she was dropped off at the hospital. Her mother Deborah Goldsmith-Dolan, dropped her off at her friend's house on Sunday, the night before the incident. When she realized her daughter didn't come home she questioned Chloe's friend and was told that she was with a friend in Havenhill. Alarmed, her parents filed a missing person's report and was later told that a 47-year-old man dropped Chloe off at the hospital.
2. Sweet Soul
Chloe had a tremendous impact on the lives around her. She was a student at Amesbury Middle School. Everyone has nothing but kind words to describe her. Ricard was also known for her many talents in dance, acrobatics, music, yoga and drawing. “She was just a beautiful, kind girl,” Goldsmith-Dolan said. “Everyone that met her loved her, she was so social.” The only downside her parents expressed was she began to hang around the wrong crowd at school.
3. Carlos Rivera Stands Before The Grand Jury
Prosecutors are seeking indictment for the grand jury against Rivera. Carlos is accused of giving cocaine to a minor and sexually assaulting her twice before she died. He is currently being held without bail and has a hearing coming up on June 4th. He is also charged with battery on a child under 14; and one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.
4. It's So Hard To Say Goodbye
Chloe's stepfather Brian Dolan is heartbroken and demands justice as well as answers about his stepdaughter's death. The family is distraught as they are trying to cope with the loss of their young girl. “This kid isn’t a bag of trash. This kid is a human being,” Brian Dolan said. Ricard's parents have started a GoFundMe to help with the cost of the funeral.
