It's as if when you were introduced to a new love or the potential of it, you don't know where to store that idea, until it has passed through a sea of old ideas related to your former love life.
That one new concept has to go through everything that you have already gone through. It takes time to heal, and maybe you're not done with the grieving process yet.
You can also be cracked from deep within your soul. Perhaps a change in status altered your surface identity.
You were bent in a away you weren’t used to being before things ended.
After one of these heartbreaking experiences, you're going to look mostly the same, but there is an edge to you now.
If someone were to run their finger over the surface of your emotional heart, they would feel a slight contour instead of a smooth exterior. A part of you might be scared that they could themselves be cut, and you don't want to ever cause pain to another person in the same way you felt by the one you loved.
You can also be shattered emotionally still feeling completely dropped and unrecognizable.

1. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces pour their whole selves into a relationship. They find out who their partner is on the deepest level possible, and they connect to them like a Lego. They can be so trusting that betrayal is going to hit them harder than other signs.
By betrayal I don’t only mean cheating. For a Pisces, gradual loss of love is a betrayal, growing apart is a betrayal. They truly learned their partner, if not who they are then at least who they were. They exhaust themselves in the loss of their “one true love” and that makes it too hard to move on.
2. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius people will do anything to reach their goals. Simply getting hurt isn’t going to keep them from trying to love the person they think they are meant to be with. This is broken in away because the inability to let go is going to keep them from whole heartedly loving again.
They will completely immerse themselves into loving someone, who may not ever love them back, missing out on people who are ready to love them in the present. Sagittarius are also quite idealistic. They have an idea of how the world should be and they think, eventually, it will get there.
This leaves them caught in an endless loop of “this is what should have happened” or “that’s so unfair”. When broaching your love life with these ideals, it makes it entirely too hard to move on.

Scorpios are so passionate. They live every breath of their life as a pant. They are constantly trying to catch every moment as fully as they can, leaving room for the next moment so it won’t pass them by. This translates into their romantic life as well.
Scorpios love so hard, and so fully that the loss of that love can be a major trauma for them. Imagine giving your whole self to someone, especially someone who as distrusting as a Scorpio, only to be taught that it was something that was going to end.
And what happens if you give your whole self to something that no longer exists? You walk around in this purgatory. In this weird void space of life. It is nearly impossible to love again in a void.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras cannot stand being alone. They end of a love affair can easily break them. To a Libra, when they finally find someone to love they tether themselves to that person. In the inevitable un-tethering, it leaves a Libra feeling completely raw.
It is as if their outer dermis was ripped off and a sharp cool breeze is constantly blowing through them. It is too painful. Since Libras are more prone to self-pity than other signs, they will see their emotional baggage as an injustice, something that they didn’t deserve. Instead of fighting for their happy endings, they will just dwell in the pits of their own self-deprecation.
5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are the most loyal of the sing, making their love into a safe haven. When the safety of the haven is breached, this can be detrimental to a Virgo. They can also be very critical. They want to be perfect in every aspect of their lives.
Especially their love life. Their approach to heartbreak is different than other signs. They are very methodical. They will go over every single detail to try to understand what went wrong.
They will be hyper focused on what their partner could have done differently, but that is just notes for the supporting cast compared to the self-evaluation they implement.

6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are very emotional. They become enormously attached to the people in their lives. Cancers love very hard and but lose even harder. They will sit and relive every happy moment with their ex-partner, scoring them to Coldplay’s “Fix You”.
