TLC’s hit reality series, 90 Day Fiancé, has become a cultural phenomenon. It’s one of the most popular shows on Sunday nights, and its various spin-off shows — including the recently-released Pillow Talk — have become water-cooler worthy shows.
So, it makes sense that Luis Mendez and Molly Hopkins — two of the stars of the show — became minor celebrities. And, when their marriage fell apart, fans of the show were wondering what would happen next.
Now that the dust has settled on the Luis and Molly situation, here’s what we know about Luis Mendez’s new wife, and what’s next for the former 90 Day Fiancé.
1. He got married to her last September.
According to In Touch Weekly, Luis Mendez got divorced from Molly Hopkins last April. The divorce was so acrimonious that he didn’t even show up for the 90 Day Fiancé tell-all episode at the conclusion of his season. Just five months after his divorce from Molly was finalized, Luis got re-married to his new wife on September 19th, 2018. He confirmed that the wedding pictures he shared on his Instagram page were, indeed, of his own wedding.

2. He’s keeping her identity private.
While his relationship with Molly Hopkins was a very public one because they were on a popular television show, Luis Mendez’s relationship with his new wife is a very private one. According to The Hollywood Gossip, that’s by design. Luis has made clear that he has no interest in making his new wife a “public figure,” and he respects her desire for privacy because he loves her. He also has said that his new wife “makes him very happy.”

3. He no longer keeps in touch with Molly Hopkins.
According to Us Weekly, Luis Mendez no longer keeps in touch with his ex-wife. However, he doesn’t wish any harm upon her. “I have no contact with her. I just want to be happy,” he said to the outlet. “I don’t want to know anything about it. But if she wants to congratulate me, it’s OK.”
But if Mendez is waiting for a first-anniversary gift from his now ex-wife, he’ll need to wait a long time. According to the outlet, Molly found out about Luis’s new marriage on Instagram, and took to Instagram Live to trash her former dearly beloved.
“For all of you who care, or who wanted to talk junk about me, I totally got used, but it’s all good,” she said. “Luis got married to a Dominican lady in Jersey, best I can tell. I saw pictures. Yeah, he’s married to someone else. She looks older than me, from the Dominican Republic. So, all the people who thought I was crazy, his situation was pretty lovely. I mean, we were together for two years, so it’s all good. Oh God, it doesn’t hurt at all. I’m good. I’m so good.”
4. Is she pregnant?
According to a different report for In Touch Weekly, there’s a chance that Luis Mendez’s new wife might be pregnant. Given how quickly Luis divorced Molly — and subsequently married his new wife — it’s not outside the realm of possibility. Additionally, there’s also a chance that he knew his new wife before he’d married — and subsequently divorced — Molly Hopkins.
5. Luis and his new wife are madly in love.
Even though Luis seems to have deleted his Instagram, screenshots captured by InTouch show Luis and his new wife — whom he married last September and whose identity is still not konwn — seemingly extemely happy. Take a gander at recent photos of the now-happily married couple.
