I have so many tabs open on my phone and my computer because I’m always thinking of things I want to search for later when I’m free.
So, really, using Google is like writing down all my random thoughts and questions until I can come back to them at another time for me.
Plus, don’t tell anyone, but I prefer using Google to look up a word or current event to brush up on what it is instead of having to ask someone to explain it to me. That’s my secret to looking smart and in the know (just kidding).
We use Google for a number of things – Google really does have it all.
There are certainly other browsers out there that people might prefer over this one, but we can all agree that Google is one of the most popular search engines there is. One of the things I like best about human behavior and astrology is that everyone is different in their own way.
Sure, I (an Aquarius) might use Google to keep track of all my weird questions, like why bees don’t have lungs and why does my cat think playtime is at 4 in the morning, but another zodiac sign might like using Google for something more academic and educational or fun.
No matter what you’re searching for on Google, one thing almost always tends to be true: We’re a lot more honest on Google than we are anywhere else on the web, like social media.
According to a study done by author and scientist Seth Stephens-Davidowitz, people finished the phrase “my husband is…” a lot differently on Facebook (where everyone can see what you’re posting) than on Google (where your searches are anonymous.

He noted that, when people don’t have those extra “eyes” around to see what you’re posting or searching for, they tend to be a lot more honest, even when that’s not always such a good thing. In addition to the totally innocent and frank things we search for on Google, people also search for disturbing things (duh).
Because of that anonymity, there’s less worry that we can get caught by others with what we search for. This isn’t the norm, obviously, but there are definitely people out there who aren’t using Google for innocent reasons. Long story short, our Google searches can say a lot more about us than we realize, both the good and the bad. Interesting, huh?
