New Details About The Crazy Charlize Theron/Angelina Jolie Feud
Do they have beef?
instagram When you love tea, celebrity feuds can be your life source. And while we’re still laughing over the recent 50 Cent/Lala Kent feud, as well as the beef between Khloe Kardashian and Jordyn Woods, is there really a Charlize Theron/Angelina Jolie feud going on?
The two actresses are both extremely talented, but considering Jolie’s historical feud with Jennifer Aniston (did she actually steal Brad from her?!), are these two at odds with one another?
On an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which aired on May 2nd, Cohen asked Theron about the rumors that she has an alleged feud with Jolie. Cohen read a fan-submitted question, asking, “I always wanted to know if there was any actual beef between Charlize and Angelina Jolie, or if this was a classic case of the media pinning two people against each other?” And Theron was quick to clear the rumors up.
She responded, “We have always... I don’t know her very well. I know her from events but she's always been so lovely. We really don’t know each other. We are not friends or hang out, but she has never been nothing but gracious and lovely and warm.” Seth Rogen, Theron’s co-star in the new film Long Shot, then joked, “Me and her f***ing hate each other, though... F*** you, Angelina Jolie.” Theron then joked back, saying, “What is wrong with you?”
Rogen immediately took back his words and apologized, “I shouldn’t say that, I am sorry. I apologize. I have literally maybe met her once in my life. She was lovely. We are in three Kung Fu Panda films together. We are part of the Furious Five or whatever.”
So where did this alleged feud even start? Being in Hollywood means you constantly have to fight other actors and actresses for a role, and it’s been rumored that Theron and Jolie have fought over some of the same movie roles. There was also a rumor flying that Jolie’s famous ex, Brad Pitt, was dating Theron.
But you can also put those dating rumors to rest, because Theron has been single for quite some time and has referred to herself as “shockingly single.” In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed, “I’ve been single for 10 years. It’s not a long shot. Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up.”
A few days later, when she appeared on Howard Stern’s show, she told him she was, in fact dating, saying, “I am dating, yes. No, I’m not in love. Why is that crazy? I want to be clear... is everybody listening? ...I was raising two small children, and your life just becomes very all-consuming. They need you for everything. And I’m a single mom... I have one nanny. So, it’s not like I have a ton of help, and I really wanted to be a mom, so I was enjoying it.”
So, there you have it. Don’t believe everything the media tells you, unless it comes directly from that celebrity’s mouth!
