Are Khloe Kardashian And French Montana Back Together?
The once-former flames may be current flames again.
Instagram Theirs was a love that sparked many a rumor, a blog post, and an Instagram meme. Two people from two seemingly different worlds — Khloe Kardashian and French Montana — somehow found their way to one another, thus touching off a love story that looked like was going to last a lifetime.
Unfortunately, their love affair was over before it even started.
Yet, love being what it is, the duo may have found their way back to each other.
So, are Khloe Kardashian and French Montana back together?
1. It all started in 2013.
Khloe Kardashian has moved on from French Montana...or has she?
According to Us Weekly, Khloe Kardashian and French Montana were “on and off” beginning in 2013. They dated for a year before calling it off at the end of 2013 but got back together shortly thereafter. Then, they called it off for good back in December 2014, and Khloe told the outlet that she “just wanted to be alone” afterwards.
“I jumped into something because I was just, like, lonely and destructive,” she said. “But now I’m like, I just want to be alone."
2. Khloe Kardashian was still legally married to Lamar Odom at the time she first got with French Montana.
According to The Cheat Sheet, Khloe and Lamar got married in 2009. For a while, it looked like those two were in it for the long haul.
Then, in 2013, Khloe filed for divorce from the former basketball player after it was revealed that he’d cheated on her — and publicly — and was abusing drugs. It was right around the time that she’d initially filed for divorce that she first started dating French Montana.
When, however, Lamar Odom suffered a drug overdose, Khloe put the divorce proceedings on hold to “support him” through his recovery and detoxification.
Then, in 2016, she filed for divorce again, and this time, she saw it through to completion.
3. But French Montana was still allegedly dating Trina when he first got with Khloe Kardashian.
Lest we throw Khloe Kardashian under the bus for dating French Montana while she was still “legally” married to Lamar Odom (though, to be fair to her, the divorce papers had been filed), it bears stating that French Montana was spoken for at the time he got with the Keeping Up with The Kardashians star.
According to CapitalXtra, Perez Hilton — who never met a messy opportunity that he didn’t like — was the first to claim that French Montana was still dating Trina when he hooked up with Khloe. He also said that Trina and Khloe were the best of friends, and that Khloe’s hookup with French caused the demise of their friendship.
But French Montana — whose real name is Karim Kharbouch — denied those claims, saying he was “as single as a dollar bill” when he first linked up with Khloe.
4. It all “rekindled” at Kourtney’s birthday party.
French Montana and Khloe Kardashian are still friendly with one another.
There’s no law saying that you can’t be friends with someone after you break up, and it seems that despite their initial split, Khloe and French have remained friends.
According to iHeartRadio, French and Khloe reunited recently at Kourtney’s recent birthday party, which she celebrated at a nightclub in Los Angeles. Though there were no pictures of Khloe and French hooking up, there were some videos of French giving the birthday girl a lap dance in honor of becoming a year older.
Apparently, Khloe and French are such good friends that she’s reportedly “leaning on him” as she goes through the drama of her breakup from Tristan Thompson.
“They are more than just friends; French is someone that Khloe has always been able to trust and talk to about things. Khloe feels comfortable opening up to French because she feels he will always give her his honest opinion about what she is going through. She likes having an objective, guys point of view on things. Plus, even though they are no longer romantic, they still have great chemistry together,” reports the outlet.
So, while it seems like Khloe Kardashian and French Montana are “just friends,” for now, there’s no telling if they’ll get back together again soon!
