A24 is the production house that will be distributing "False Positive," the new film starring Ilana Glazer and her rumored boyfriend, Justin Theroux.

According to Radar Online, Theroux and Glazer are currently working together on the film, False Positive, which Glazer also co-wrote. Glazer and Theroux, who play a couple in the horror film, were “all smiles” even when the cameras stopped rolling, fueling rumors of a possible new romance between the two.

In the past, Justin Theroux has been linked to Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, and even Angelina Jolie — who, in a case of “it’s a small Hollywood world,” is the second ex-wife of Brad Pitt, who is the first ex-husband of Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux’s first ex-wife. Phew!

Of course, this could all be much ado about nothing. According to Gossip Cop, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux — who divorced in 2017 — had a very “amicable” split, with both telling other publications that there was no heartbreak or drama between the two, and that despite their split, the two are still friends. What’s more, Gossip Cop is reporting that Theroux — despite his reputation in the press of being a bit of a playboy — hasn’t had a serious relationship since he and Aniston split.

Whatever the case, here’s what we do know about Ilana Glazer, the woman whom Justin Theroux is reportedly dating.

Ilana Glazer co-created "Broad City" on Comedy Central.

Broad City was a hit series on Comedy Central that Glazer co-created with her producing partner, Abbi Jacobson. Originally starting as a web series, Broad City was brought to Comedy Central when actress Amy Poehler expressed an interest in the show. The show received critical acclaim from the likes of sites like Metacritic, and for a time, it was the highest-rated show on Comedy Central. In its prime, Broad City – which Buzzfeed said left behind “a legacy of friendship” — was lauded because it put both Glazer and Jacobson’s “Jewishness” at the forefront of their comedy. Glazer even joked that her friendship with Jacobson was a “bra-mance.”

2. She’s an award-winning director.

Ilana Glazer is a multi-talented actress and director.

In 2013, Ilana Glazer won several awards for her directorial debut, How To Follow Strangers. According to IndieWire, one such accolade includes being the winner of the Lower East Side Film Festival, a popular festival in New York City. IndieWire billed Glazer as “the next Claire Danes,” a title that Glazer tended to shy away from. “I don’t think I’ll ever be the type of actor or performer per se who transforms, you know? Like Claire Danes transforms into Temple Grandin, I’m not gonna do that. Even Ellie, is a part of me, you know?” she said to IndieWire.

3. She’s a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Ilana Glazer is a member of the infamous Upright Citizens Brigade.

The Upright Citizens Brigade is a comedy troupe that originated in the 1990s. Since then, it has gone on to be the starting ground for such superstars as Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Drew Franklin. According to Ilana Glazer’s official bio for the Upright Citizens Brigade, she joined the troupe in 2006, and went on to study with Will Hines, Charlie Todd, Joe Wengert, Anthony King, and Chris Gethard for more than three years. In 2009, Broad City premiered, and she started doing less work with the Upright Citizens Brigade.

4. Her new film is supposed to be a “psychological thriller.”

Ilana Glazer is not afraid to step out of her comfort zone.

While Ilana Glazer mostly became known for her comedy work, she’s really spreading her wing with False Positive, the new film in which she stars with Justin Theroux. According to Consequence of Sound, Glazer wrote the story with John Lee, and the film is being produced by acclaimed movie house A24. In addition to Theroux and Glazer, False Positive also stars Pierce Brosnan, Zainab Jah, Gretchen Mol, Sophia Bush, and Josh Hamilton. The movie is currently filming and is slated to have a 2020 release date.

5. She’s married.

Ilana Glazer married David Rooklin two years ago.

There’s one major kink in Ilana Glazer’s rumored relationship with Justin Theroux: she’s already married. Not that being married has ever stopped someone — male or female — from having a so-called “side piece,” but Ilana Glazer has been married to computational biologist David Rooklin for more than two years. Glazer’s friend, Chioke Nassor, spilled the beans about their marriage on Instagram back when they got married at City Hall. Refinery29 reported that the duo got married in a “super-secret ceremony” at City Hall – much like their friends Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke – and a 2014 New Yorker profile on Glazer reported that Rooklin was her “longtime boyfriend” from her college days. So, it’s highly unlikely that Justin Theroux and Ilana Glazer are dating — though we certainly hope that Justin Theroux finds his forever love soon!
